I'm an expat American celebrating my 6th anniversary here this summer. It's been everything I hoped it'd be! very jealous. me and the wife are ready to leave the uk... its slowly circling the toilet and i really dont want to raise kids here. currently trying to demonstrate the right skills to work in expanding markets with GW so I can get out and still have a job i love. did it take you long to grasp the language? - pretty much my chief concern

One is just not forced to use it, and Dutch people like to speak english with you if you're a buitenlander.... But it's a great country to live in, I'm here as a 'Highly Skilled Worker', ie I work for a university. But since you're in the EU, you're in a different position as far as work and residence goes. I've never regretted a say since I've been here.

LOL! Killing me here ..... I'm really interested in getting a gameday/weekend this summer. I spoke with Tijn at Subcultures in Utrecht and there is the Game Garden (I think that's the name) that is an appropriate venture. I'd like to run car wars and/or dark future.

Car Wars!I love Car Wars!I havent played in years but it will always have a soft spot in my heart. BTW Rustbucket,a long walk is good to get the baby to come out but what worked for us was,in this order,Greek salad,sex then a long walk. Man that salad was good and boy was my wife pissed at me for not sharing! I'm here all week!!!!!

I have a bunch of CW stuff back at my parents house in the States which I plan to bring over when I go there for the holidays, and I just ordered a HUGE lot on Ebay from the UK. I'm DYING to start playing CW again! And some Dark Future But I have to admit, for me, the modeling is a gigantic part of the hobby. I love this site and Lead Adventure Forum. The folks on both sites are SO talented, I feel like a rank amateur!
