Hey All, Some samples of Car Wars cars I painted up tonight. The red sedan is finished, but the others need outlining and windows done. Just waiting for them to dry.... All feedback is most welcome!

Thanks Guys! Anyone actually play CW? Did you know that there is a program called 'Vassal' that allows people to play boardgames across the net? They have a module for Car Wars as well. Just sayin.....

 I played CW .. a lot. I have Vassal up and running but somehow never seem to get to the point where I play against a "live" opponent. (  /  ) My CW gameplay experience is old skool. Never bothered to buy the latest version of the rules. |

I think you have done a good job painting them, but the minitures are hidious [honest opinion - not trying to upset]. Are they smaller than matchbox cars? they look tiny!!! havent played the ruleset, is it anygood? |

They're 6mm, so at that scale things get a little distorted. I thought the same thing until I remembered what my old Citadel Epic figs looked like. For the size they are, about a thumbnail, I think the guys at Irregular did a great job. I'm pretty happy at 10 vehicles, including a rig, for 6 pound. |

Yeah, I double checked, the orange car fits right on top of my thumbnail. They say 6mm, but to be honest I'd say more like 7-9mm, but no matter. The cars are really great for Car Wars 1st - 4th edition. I think even with paper chit mines, debris, etc, having car minis instead of just flat paper chits for the cars as well, really brings people into the game. I'll be on holiday for a few weeks now, but when I get home I'm going to bring the Car Wars Mini rules to the next game night at MLGS. http://www.irregularminiatures.co.uk/indexes/6mmindex.htm 6 pound is no joke for a small fleet of cars to game with. I bought two full sets and then they made me up a set of just bikes. That way I can do a few biker scenarios. |

Ok fella. we're back in the cave tonight, but I will grab them tomorrow when we go for a wonder [trying to walk the baby out!]. I will get a cost for postage while i'm at it.
