They look great! Can I assume from some of the kit that they are 1/40?

My only suggestion would have been to write the front graffiti backwards since anyone looking in their rearview would see it in the correct way. Otherwise, AWESOME!

1/43 cost £5.97 @ Tescos.

Added spare ork bits, cardboarded over wheels and painted in one sitting.

I'm a bit sad in that regard! I over think things... I cant imagine them having high tech targetting computers, the way I imagine it he would have a pulley to pull the trigger and aim the thing with the car! I did put a targetting sight on the hood but the vehicles engine mods have taken priorty :/

Again appreciate the feedback!

Truely excellent work on these! I've been trying to think of ways to make the hoods of vehicles more interesting and this provides some good inspiration.

That they started looking like this...

...only makes the transformation that much more impressive.

If you live in uk I noticed a few awesome vehicles on my wander through town...

'The Entertainer' are doing an awesome 1/43 winnabago [spelling?] camper van and 'Hawkins Bazaar' are doing VW campers. Spent my bottle caps this month, you may see them at months end though ;)

Thanks for the comments - they really inspire me to do more!

Biker gang have fully painted bikes now and 1 has his flesh painted [the others are jealous]... Dont want to rush them though, Ramshackles bikes are amazing and I want to do them justice.

The weathering is done by using GW liquid green stuff to stipple over flat [boring] areas to give it some texture for when I drybrush it, I also use it to blend stuck on parts to the main body to created a smooth or welded look.

The bleeding from the rust and bolts is simply black wash blobbed on and dragged downwards.

Simple recipe:

Black base
Dark metal
Drybrush light metal
Stipple brown
Stipple orange
red/mud wash the whole thing
edge with bright silver
stipple/wetbrush many body colour
weather approriate areas with black or red wash
Matt sealer.

I will add dust as soon as I have figured out the basing for my figures and bikers.

Hope it helps someone.
