Firstly is my scratch built transporter. Made from old sprue and custom castings I have made. It is far from finished, but I'm happy so far.![]() Secondly, My GM 'Turbo Tractor'. Made from spares after building my GM Rat Rod. ![]() And Finally my favourite one so far, My GM Rat Rod. Made from Ork truck parts and will be in my Hot Rod gang when finished. Also have 8 bikes from Ramshackle to add to the gang when they arrive. ![]() I will update when I make some more progress. If anyone wants to know how I cast custom panels for trucks let me know, Its really easy! Hope you like them so far. |

The tractor and rat rod are the cats ass!!! The transporter is cool but i think its going to need bigger wheels or it will tip over!!! I had a girlfriend that was built like that a long time ago.........................................top heavy.

The sprue-recycling truck is one of the best ideas to re-use those plastic things. Well done! |

Despite the orks I Like the buggies.. They have a good scavenger build atmosphere over them.. The sprue truck is nice but I don't like the square box shape.. thanks for posting and sharing ideas. Edited by Hollander, May 16 2012, 08:15 PM.

Yeah!!! My care package from Curtis turned up today - he was kind enough to chuck in an extra bike! spent the evening cleaning them up and gluing my fingers together, If I get the chance to put some riders on tonight I'll update with pics... I'm afraid there will be GM orks on them Hollander, Dont worry too much though - My human gang has both its Utes in this glorious box of awesome! Yeah my Tonka toy-esqe truck sucks monkey parts, but it was a fun exercise in scratch building, If I did it again I would sculpt the cab and rear in large blocks [Like Ramshackle] from clay/putty/green stuff then cast in bigger chunks. The panels where made from cardboard which I glued together and added various details like rivets and shutters, Then I used instamould [or whatever its called] [The one you soften with hot water] to create an impression then poured 'easy flow' plastic mix into it. 10 mins later its ready to demould, so you end up working quite quickly. Cheers for all positive and constructive comments fellas!
