Thought I'd start a thread to put my PA vehicles

First up I finally had a crack at turnning one of my cheap poundland diecasts into PA vehicle. This wasteland cruiser is for my Merc company who use it as a convoy escort vehicle and wasteland scout. Stripped down and piled up with supplies for incursions into the wastes it is also carries the company logo. Traveling around the wastes soon takes it's toll on the vehicles body work.

Not meaning to sound snarky or critical but how exactly does someone use the mounted gun? From the photos, it doesn't look like there's room in the hatch for a person/mini to stand.

Or is that what the bedroll behind the hatch is for? To sit on while manning the gun? That I could see. Maybe some braces on the underside of the roof for the gunner's feet and a harness or some belts on either side of the hatch to step themselves in with so they don't get thrown....

My obnoxious nit-picking aside, it looks great.

It is rather good. Like the weathering and the added stowage

I reckon a gunner would sit on the bedroll with his feet braced against the front of the roof hatch.

Vehicle looks great, I find it difficult to find cheap 28mm compatible figures :(

No problem from me mate :D . The gun is the bit I'm least happy with myself. Orginally I figured the gunner would pop his head up through the sun roof but I couldn't find any guns in my bits box that was small enough (GW guns are so bloody big) to fit right. In the end I settled for the idea that the gunner sits on the roof with his legs dangling through the hole in the roof. It's quite exposed but when your heavy machine cannon outranges most of your opponents crossbows, spears or rusty shotguns it's not so much of a problem. What would be really good if I could find the right scale would be to strap a chair to the roof for the gunner :M-4: .
