A few pictures of yesterdays efforts. A row of three housing hovels (on the south side of town so posh a couple even have glass windows :O ). As usual knocked up out of balsa and card scraps with a few interesting bits from my bits box and one of my poundland cars thrown in for good measure. I still need to finish a walkway along the front of the hovels to connect them to the rest of the town.

Yes I've been looking at Black Cat bases they've got all sorts of things like mattresses, fridges and sofas and other things that will make great trash piles. I also spotted some 28mm barb wire on ebay which might look quite good wrapped around things.

A few pictures of my latest efforts. I've added a walkway to allow access to housing shacks and extended the defensive wall from the shacks to the main entrance.

I've also added the first shack around the waterfall pool. I decided to make the roof of this shack a fighting platform with a weapons system of some sort to help defend the settlement. I don't really see mutants as having access to many firearms so I decide to scratch build a spring powered speargun with bits from my bits box.

More shacks to build I reckon I can squeeze in 3-4 more then I can add some detailing to the caves before painting.

I've got a serious case of terrain envy going on here; impressive all around.

My only question, as this is an ongoing concern of mine, is about storage. Where does one keep something like that, without having it ruined?

You're right I've got a bit carried away with this one my scenery isn't normally this big. Luckily I have a decent sized man cave (my wife calls it a garage :sorry: ) with a purpose built wargames table with a load of storage underneath

Yes I got lucky with those. Turns out those poundland cars I bought to break up as wrecks had little pull back and go motors full of little cogs excellent for adding detail to things like spearguns
