Wasteland Warrior Posts: 832 Group: Members Member #314 Joined: May 9, 2011	Purifier Squires The Purifiers are a anti mutant taskforce that roams the wastelands hunting down mutant life whereever and whenever they can find it. The Purifiers act as if they are knights of old on a crusade from God, as a result they will go out of thier way to aquire Power Armored suits, either pre war or more Modern Mega-Corp produced. However, to be proven worthy of a suit of armor and to earn the title of a Knight, recruits are issued with basic combat armor and weapons, and sent into the wastes with a Knight to serve. Many of these Squires will be killed or maimed in the endless war with mutation, but there seems to be no end to the supply of tribals or wasteland settlers wishing vengence upon the "gene-joke" menace. Wasteland Warrior Posts: 832 Group: Members Member #314 Joined: May 9, 2011	Purifier Knights Purifier Knights stride into battle wearing Powered Armor and Hard Suits aquired from a great many sources, though the most common is the "Eagle" Armour supplied to Imperial American troops during the mid to late stages of WWIV. Though they like many wasteland forces tend to use whatever weapons they can get thier hands on, the most common is the Bolt gun, a form of SMG grenade launcher. Though they consider themselves as knights of old and the defenders of humanity, they are quite rightfully feared by many of the wastelands populance, for more than one settlement has been eradicated for trading or harbouring "gene-joke filth" or mutants, not to mention thier executions of captives taken in mutant raids to prevent the mutation taint from spreading. Wasteland Warrior Posts: 832 Group: Members Member #314 Joined: May 9, 2011	Mega Corp Suits Newport City and much of the wasteland around the city is under the control if the various Mega Corps, though each of these giants rarely get on, and its not unheard of for employees to lash out at each other during board room meetings and the like. And when the suits arent enough, Corporate Kill Teams can and will be sent in, mostly to eliminate rogue elements, or aquire samples from out in the wastes. Many of the inhabitants of the wastes simply wish to get on with their lives anyway they can. Some are traders, others gamblers, hookers, many are salavgers or act as law makers in thier towns and settlements, one thing is certain, they will defend what is theirs. Wasteland Warrior Posts: 832 Group: Members Member #314 Joined: May 9, 2011	Mutants Mutants come in many shapes, sizes and personality. Caused by chemical fallout and failed super soldier experiments, mutants can generaly be classified as Brutes, Ghouls, or Abhuman's. Brutes are huge hulking creatures often with toughened hides and extreme strength and anger issues. Combat with Brutes is ill advised and should only be attempted with long range explosive weapons. Ghouls are rotting humans who have been exposed to some form of chemical or diesase. Due to the contagion spread from Ghoul bites and the majority of ghouls going feral, they are genrally shot on sight, this tends to be a problem for Ghoul's who have retained their humanity. Abhuman's are generally mutants who can for the most part pass as human, perhaps they have diffrent skin colour, or mutated limbs. Abhumans tend to be better treated than other mutants, though that isnt saying much. Edited by TheMightyFlip, Sep 20 2017, 10:12 PM.
