NewPort City, a vast mega city created by international megacorps during world war 4. Considered by many to be the last seat of civilisation in a sea maddness left by decades of warfare. The city is surronded by a vast wall designed to keep the wasteland beyond at bay, however thier are ways in and out of the city exploited by many. The city itself in heavily over populated and as a result crime and gang warfare have become a near constant way of life for many city dwellers, life inside the city just really mimics life in the wastes, a fight to survive. Mistress Libbys Domme Gang    Led by thier leader Mistress Libby, these girls have become a well armed militia, taking control of the former red light district in the city.      The NewPort City Police Department The thin blue line, the only thing keeping the average citizens of NewPort safe and under control, after all, without thier constant vigilance and zero tolerance for any kind of deviation, thier world would be plunged into chaos. It can only be prevented with political correctness, health and safety, and lots of big guns! However due to the rising number of heavily armed gangs, many with explosives, the NPCPD has been issued with heavily armed Hard Suits by Genom Inc, though due to budget restraints, in limited numbers.      The NewPort City Hell's Heathen's The Hell's Heathen's biker gang is made up of mostly ex military who spend most of thier time hanging out in in various bars, or working on thier bikes in thier garage. They are known however to hire themselves out as enforcers or bounty hunters for the right price, they have to pay for fuel somehow.       The Scavengers The people that make up this group are mostly lowlife scum, escaped convicts, lunatics or just simple down and outs who have no other place to go than down below the city. Living in the dark tunnels beneath NewPort, these scavengers have done thier best to carve a life out for themselves, searching through the junk dropped from above. These people have now banded together under the leadership of the Duke of NewPort (He's A number one) seen above in this red coat of office, no one has the heart to tell him that it was originally a hotel doormans coat. He is assisted in ruling "the people" by the Sheriff, a woman who takes no prisoners and enacts the Dukes will with leathal effect, as well as an old Vector Industries Hard Suit, found damaged in the junk pile and repaired by the Doctor, a small chap of mutated stock but with quite a large brain in his head. They often lead raids up into the city proper, searching for food, weapons, or anything that takes thier fancy. They have also been known to grab civilians (rumored for food) and as a result, maintaince workers in the sewers are now escorted by security teams. The Police has offered a bounty on Scav's, though the sheer number of hiding places makes hunting them seriously dangerous. Scav's however are not found only in the sewers and old network tunnels, but out in the wastes as well, in fact there are vast settlements out beyond the borders of the city.   Combat Droids A joint venture by Genom Inc and Vector Heavy Industries saw the creation of these heavily armed AI fighting machines. Designed as a way of countering the excessive amount of training time to learn how to operate a Hard Suit, the project stalled and was finally canceled due to spiraling costs, the driods inability to adapt to battle field situations, and the desire for Genom to install human brains into the units, thus creating a true cyborg (Genom went on to pursue the cyborg project alone). The remaining units are currently employed by the NewPort City Sanitation Department hunting Scavengers, with limited sucess despite having overwealming firepower.   The Gray Fox Mercenary Band The Gray Fox Unit is made up of various veterans from World War IV, under the command of Major Corben. The unit is generally classed as an illegal combat force and as a reult have an active bounty on thier head's forcing them to remain out of NewPort City, this however does not stop the MegaCorps or even the NewPort Police from hiring them from time to time. The unit operates mostly in the uncivilised wasteland that seperates NewPort from its closest neighbours, often patroling the highways that are still used by civilian traffic or hunting down Tech Scavs looting the abandoned landscape. As a result of thier enviroment, the Unit has develped expert steatlh skills and ambush techniques, often the first and last thing an enemy hears is the crackling of laser and ion fire Edited by TheMightyFlip, Sep 20 2017, 09:53 PM.

 Bio Booster Armor 1 While experimenting on various forms of Power Armor, the Zeon Corporation developed a form of organic armor they dubbed Bio Booster Armor. Unlike regular Power Armor the Booster links directly with its pilot, or host, bonding with him or her. During field tests it was found that after a matter of weeks the pilot was absorbed by the suit, Zeon, undetered, went forward and continued trials, ultimately killing 25 pilots. Before pilot 26 could be installed, the suit some how escaped (or was stolen) into the lower levels of NewPort City. All attempts to capture the suit have failed.  NewPort News The NewPort News is part of the NP Network, and handles current affairs within the city, and the few surronding settlements that are under NewPort control. The media is heavily controlled by the MegaCorps and as a result almost all the news coverage is censored. In recent years the NewPort News has become extremely popular for its nightly "Gang Watch" program, which showcases various gangs blowing the crap out of each other.  Trixie The uncivilised area's surronding NewPort City are populated by many types of people, some good, most others are just bad news however. One of these bad news characters is a girl by the name of Trixie, her m.o. seems to be to bind herself to rubble and act as a damsel in distress, only when her prey is close does she strike, either with a concealed weapon, or with a group of hired thugs.  Mad Moxxi Moxxi is the proprietor of a popular night club / brothel near the slums district of NewPort called Moxxi's Red Light, she is also the owner and organsier of Moxxi's Underdome Riot, a massive abandoned sports arena that has been turned into a huge gladiator sports venue where gangs and crims are forced to battle against each other to the death.  The General Surgeon of NewPort Hills & Staff The Doctor was once a gifted plastic surgeon who treated most of the rich and famous, though during WWIV he was discovered preforming unnessacery operations and procedures on his patients. He fled into the slums of NewPort and then into the sewers, welcomed by the dregs and savages down there he has set himself up a new clinic. His staff are loyal to him, none more so than old Slyvester, an againg action movie star that has had one to many plastic surgerys and is now falling apart, held together by grafted body parts and illiegal chems supplied by the Doctor's nurses. Despite his habits, the scavs protect and supply the Doctor fresh body parts and victims on a regular basis in return for medical care they wouldnt get anywhere else Edited by TheMightyFlip, Sep 20 2017, 09:54 PM.

 The Beast of the Wastes The floating grotesque known as The Beast was a formidable warlord during World War IV, however after being exposed to a biological weapon after the war he was left disfigured and requiring the use of his floating life support module. Despite his severe disability, his mind has remained sharp and as a result still commands respect and near god like devotion from his followers. Though the days of vast army command are now long gone, he still commands a sizeable band of warriors and fanatics to threaten most small to mid size settlements outside of NewPort City.
