thanks guys. I really like building the stuff up, but I'm afraid that when the time comes i'll ruin them with a sub par paint job. LED lighitng is also planned for quite a few of the pieces. We were discussing attempting to play in a dimly lit area with lit up terrain and a few fire barrels scattered arround the table for that real deep dark underhive feel.

IB, I think your on to something with the mood lighting.Excellent idea! Its gonna enhance the dark gritty feel,SWWEEEEEET :P I'll have to try that myself.Big help for the melee orientatd gang.As for the painting, lots of rusted metal,yellow/black stipes, you know da business! What were you thinking for the table top itself?

my friend was thinking about buying one of those zuzzy asplault looking mats, not sure exactly what we'll end up doing yet. I was also mulling over a modular board design with sump river and elevated foundations thrown into the mix.

OOOOOHHHHhhhh sweet! While I'm not a huge fan of modular boards various elavations are enticing. Whats your secret for such good looking rivets? It seems I'm going to have to make a jig or something as I cant cut a straight line

rivets are0.015" or so plasticard attacked with a 1/16" hole punch, bought for 40% off at a ladies fabrics shop in there scrapbooking section (along with one of this paper crimper gimmicks also 40% off, SCORE!). I poped the holder bit off the bottom of the punch and sit holding the puncher over a bowl while sitting watching tv or something and make rivets. This project is going to take a LOT. I think I've gone through ~120 just on the lower 4 walls.

I can cut a straight line either, even when using a ruler and well marked lines and multiple light passes haha.

Great work. I am loving the detail you are putting on. How long did it take to put the rivets on?
