"Dip" is a method similar to blackwashing. Rather than applying it with a brush, one simply dunks the mini into it and then shakes off the excess. Here is a link to an article on the Dakka Dakka forums about it. Note the author is using MinWax woodstain rather than Army Painter Quickshade or a similar brand of "dip" that is essentially the very same thing yet costs three or four times as much. |

Been using the dip for the first time on some Vikings.Look in the "Other Genres" section,cant link to it,sorry. Works well for mass troops,dont know how well i'll like it used on characters. Brian HERE is some of my DRIP work.................i mean DIP work.......................
