Hey guys, I got some 1/72 scale tank templates on pdf and I'm thinking they're going to be a lil' small for 25/28mm gaming. Any suggestions on how big I'll need to enlarge the pics (then print them off) to a suitable size for 25/28mm gaming? |

iirc i read somewhere( maybe the worldworks games site?) that 28mm shrinks down 85-83% for 20mm so maybe 15-18% increase for 28? possibly larger if you like your vehicles larger than normal. |

Worldwork's paper building scaled down to 65% work great with 15mm, so the math of 20mm being about 85-83% works out. From experience, even from the same designer paper buildings vary in scale, so you will have to play with each one to work out what size is best. |

Well I was pondering at lunchtime, if 1/72 works with 15mm, then to push it up to 25mm all I'd need to do is bump it up by +66.6% (believe it or not I hit one of the engineers here at work for that lmao I'd gotten +60% but couldn't figure out why it wouldn't back calculate, my calculator didn.t do the extra 6.6%.....). So, from 15mm to 28mm would be +86.6%. At least I think that's the way it should work.... |
