The Red Claw gang Complete at last!

The Jaguars have now been started off. The Jaguars take there name from a derelict car factory where they have looted numerous ancient machines and tools. They've set themselves up in the nearby Fort Dunlop an old ruined office building there they have setup a workshop and used there slightly crude engineering experience to equip themselves with more weapons and protective gear.

First off the leader Maximillian

Pretty sweet mini. The red claw gang looks suitably menacing. Good start to the Jaguars.

Cheers MBG! Work has started upon the other four. Though Crooked Dice's latest release has just distracted me slightly I have a guy with an SLR and a kilt winging his way to me!

Indeed. I got mixed impressions about the AtDE range of minis*, but your painting adds so much life to them it´s hard to believe.
Thumbs up!

*Mixed impressions? Yipp, while some minis definitely have charater, others´ poses are to arbitrary, some sculpts way to "heroic", i.e. bulky.

Out of interest: F.e. Not Tankgirl and Ronnie. She is a lame 80´s pose while Ronnie is a cool sculpt, but his SMGs looks like it can sink Nimitz class carriers.
There are some cool figs around, especially the "weired" ones like Ezra, Fatman, Pyro and Topper. But, as a general as well as subjective impression, compared to the cutting edges in the business, the overall variation and livelyness of the poses points toward the 80´s.

Hmm I can see what you mean. I think they've gone for there own styling and it is somewhat different to a lot of ranges which are all about them being ultra realistic. The Spectre and Empress miniatures (Lovely though they are) give me chills I'm a clumsy git and the fear of knocking one over and snapping off bits of weapons has prevent me from buying them

I think however when you look at some of the EM4/Future wars miniatures they have similarities in style such as weapons not actually representing real life counterparts and being a bit chunkier but yet still being recognisable as WYSIWYG.

But at the price the sets cost it would be easy enough to pick them up and then either replace the weapon or characters you aren't keen on.
