Yeah its done in kind of three stages. basecoat, wash of dark tone (badab black) layer of original colour with a tiny spot of white mixed in with it. Then I add more white and use it to add the faded bits until i think it look ok.

Planning on getting the WGF sets though as that will give more bows and crossbows to work with. Some of the Hasslefree figs will be good additions as well especially the female sniper they have not long ago released. The kickstarter for the Across the Dead Earth starts Saturday and having seen some more concept art theres going to be some awesome figures come October.

With head swaps and putty work. L to R CD, Four A, CD, Four A, Four A CD Rear ones are all Copplestone Scavengers with an EM4 Katana Kate
