That´s awesome! Really! Some months ago Finisterrae and me spotted an exciting link. It was a Russian post apoc party on November 30th. And on Russian "Facebook" (vkontakte: https://vk.com/dirt_radiation3) we have spotted a very cool slideshow of pictures: https://vk.com/dirt_radiation3?z=album-31183950_183424216

The first thing we (REALLY!) have thought was: WHAT A FU**ING GREAT POST APOC PARTY!!! WE HAVE TO GO THERE AND MEET THE PEOPLE! And this guy and the girl are amazing: https://vk.com/dirt_radiation3?z=photo-58806073_316680662%2Fwall-58806073_231 :(|madlaugh:

And now we are meeting you here among us :(|:D:

We should stay in contact and meet you on the next post apoc party :)

Greetings from Germany,

Darkman

These pics surely went a long way... But the world is a small place!
Glad to hear you liked 'em, and glad to meet you here! *highfives*

Here are some more pics, from older PA weekends (sadly, with less fancy greatcoats and redhead rebels at my gunpoint, but pretty fun nonetheless ^^)

Also, in Soviet Russia, redheads sometimes reverse the gun... not the way you'd think of.

And once again I am back. Sorry for the lack of updates, life's been a bit more tense than I wanted to, and having more than one modelling project doesn't help either. Still, I decided to compose a little post that might be useful to fellow female Guard enthusiasts.

So I got a few minis from the first wave of Raging Heroes' Jailbirds: the banner bearer, the heavy machine gunner, the radio girl and the tank hunter. What can I say. They don't work well with 40k minis, not even because of size and scale, but because of style. The weapons are way off, the 'lasguns' being way too small and pistols the size of ork fingers, and overall sleek, streamlined sci-fi style with excessive detail suits Infinity more than 40k. They're also very tall, the size of a dark eldar. Still, they are some of the best designed PA/ganger/rebel female minis out there, Punky the banner girl is my absolute fave.
They blend in with Brother Vinni's girls well, though. I think mixing them both is a good idea considering Vinni's girls are nearly the same theme and size, but a bit more 40k in their design.
Here's the first pic, Punky with a few of Vinni's ladies. Two on the left are new stuff, unreleased, but you can order them from him already - one is a sniper girl and the other a banner girl placing her foot on a (chaos) space marine's helmet (yay!).

Here's a comparison shot of 2 generic male guardsmen and various female ones. From left to right:
GW (converted Cadian, not visible on1st pic), Victoria Miniatures (converted with Vinni's legs), Raging Heroes, Vinni (jungle fighter), Vinni (clothed sarge), RH, Chapter House (FW arms and Vinni's head), more Vinni (the smallest one in series), Copplestone (converted), Urban War, GW Escher, WGF (female survivor). As you can see, while they vary in size, the more or less fit the same scale and style.

And that's not all! Vinni also made little commission for me. The slavegirl to the left was sculpted based off a certain femme I took my sweet time disciplining...

"Variety is the spice of life," as the saying goes, and you have quite a bit of it! Terrific looking selection, and a few I wouldn't mind having in my collection...

"...life's been a bit more tense than I wanted to..." I understand what your saying about tense, things will get better with time.

Is this thing on?
Okay boys and girls, here's your neighbour Totorommel. The weather is just fine!

And was busy in my absence. In the Wasteland, you may lack time to finish and post new minis, but you can make up for that by posting some of my friends and family's life pics!

It all started with us getting acquainted with an Australian tourist. Said his name was Max.
Posted Image
Posted Image

We invited him to our little party...
Posted Image
Posted Image
Posted Image

...as politely as ever.
Posted Image
Posted Image
Posted Image

We had some drinks, played poker...
Posted Image

But since the last can of dog food went to the pretty lady...
Posted Image

...we had Max donate us his liver. Sorry Max.

Posted Image

In the end, the gang competed for that last surviving girl in the wasteland.
Posted Image
Posted Image

The competition was hard...
Posted Image
Posted Image
Posted Image

...but she ended with my wedding handcuffs on her wrists.
Posted Image

Girls cannot resist a commissar cap as the wedding gift...
Posted Image

...nor a pink tank to ride at the expense of her clothes. (YES. There're the new mini pics - is this a mini forum or not?)
Posted Image
Posted Image
(and yes it's WIP, had it run in a little club tournament some time ago)

That's all for today folks, cheer up, and ta-ta!
