I played D&D for hours on end as a teen, pen and paper only. Nowdays the modeling bug has me firm in it's grip (truth be told, it's been that way for years) and to help my flagging imagination I need a visual aid (OK, so I don't really need it, but I want it).

Problem is, when I sit down to make stuff for D&D..... nothing.... massive brain fart.

So c'mon guys and gals... give me a kick start!

Witchythepoo? Very nice videos! Dungeon crawling stuff or outside Rossthepoo? Build a base camp for the adventurers, some place to fortify and monsters to attack. Trees and hills are always very usefull. I like dramatic cliffs with caves, maybe hollowed out inside, deep into the rock where the nasty things dwell.Ruins and dungeons, maybe a small village.try to tailor the terrain to the PCs classes and goals.

Rossthepoo wants it all Inky, inside and out.... I think I need a focus. All the ideas crop up for both inside and out, specific themed sets, but when I sit down I just.... stare dumbly at a messy table.

Witchythepoo, very inspirational, more sweet ideas (I really like the remainder of the basement!)

Maybe you could start scribbling down your ideas ross, then make notes on how you'd do them - just so that when you get to the modelling table and your mind goes blank, there is something to refer to?
