I tripped up big time by using too much paint in my PVA... I'll still post my work after the glue dries :(

Back in the distant mists of time, I seem to recall that one of my kids came across a craft online that involved mixing acrylic paint with corn starch. It made a fairly flexible but sturdy sort of stuff that could be a spill or puddle of something. I'm certain that a bit of experinmentation would yield a suitable formula. :radhaz:

Naw, to have cornstarch ya have to have corn, so no cornstarch has ever been used in Tinker's special sauce. :)

I have managed to not blow up my shack yet. Thanks to suggestions from you guys my hedges turned out pretty well, but boy, does foam soak up paint or what?

lol certainly does.

A sugestion, patchy instead of a line, it should look a bit more natural.

Yep, I was just trying out different approaches and "patchy" beats "line" any day :).

Nice. The bushes in well kept parks and gardens are often cut in straight lines. Oh I forgot this isnt a GW game!

Roughing the profile up a bit would help. Take care. The last time I tired this I ended up ripping the hedge in two!

Legionnaire,

Well, my little project is a failure as of what I was trying to achieve. The only real success was the used coffee grounds for "REAL ground" cover. Once the new primer gesso dries I'll do a quick paint job and post the results of this little pain in the butt in a new thread.

Your results look better all the time too!

I prefer neatly trimmed bush. In a line rather then patchy. Please don't post pictures.
