Hello all,

I am a new member, but I have been reading around here for awhile. I thought this would be a good place to share the rules which have been swimming in my mind for a long time. The rule I have written are all about creating a frantic game in which suppression fire and cover is important and pinning and flanking are the way that infantry should be used. I have tried to ensure that the rules do this whilst also keeping them as simple as possible. The rule are the bare bones at the moment weighting in at just 5 pages. The rules include all the information you need to create your own troops including (basic) tanks. As well as a basic armory of weapons which can be modded using the rules to fit any flavor you wish (such as a High energy, smart round heavy cannon).

If any of you are able to give them a read over that would be great. we have read over the rules a few times and they seem strait forward to me (but I did write them...) so if there is anything that doesn't make sense let us know and I can change it and the Same if there is anything that you hate totally, please let me know and I will see if we can change it for the better.

Any comments would be appreciated. (Also, sorry for the poor layout at the moment, I haven't figured out a better way yet..)

Hi Welcome to the Wastelands Polis (is this a Metro2033 reference?).

They seem a nice little set of quick play rules. I cant see anything obvious that may need looking at. What scale are your rules aimed at?

Hey all, thanks for the welcome! . . . . I'll leave the wildlife to you Inkwell. Matt, your dead on it is a reference to Metro 2033 and was actually the initial inspiration for the rules (and it was the best game on the Xbox for along while I just need to find a copy of the book). The figure scale for the game is 20mm --> 28mm. hopefully I will be posting a battle report soon to show how it works. The game will be Ceaser's legion in a opposed river landing against the NCR! so watch this space.

Hey Dr.Falkenhayn, Thanks for the comment. Your right..I left them bits out but will have them added soon. The rules are going over a bit of a overhaul at the moment as I have found a few problems with I want to sort out. The smoke grenades will be used to break up over watch or provide heavy cover (I haven't decided if I want to include over watch yet...)
