I only play in 20mm range with "Warlands" rules (like these cars)... and in this scale it is easy to found vehicles. A little more difficult to find footmen... The turret on the second one is great. I was into Dark Future back in the day which got me interested in this scale. I later got into Axels and Alloys. Downside is they have no pedestrian rules. The scale lacks figures for this type of gaming.

For me 20mm is good because we can play in smaller game table, and Théo, my son, love to create little cars "modifications"... Be patient for the Warlands second rule book Mr Clean, I think it will be very good! Look on batrep topics, I will try to put you my first batrep with Warlands rules!... and you will can see all my "Old school team" and "Tha dark line team" of my friend Stéphane...

Yes, they are toys like hottwheels, matchbox, majorette (french name) with small soldiers (guy at the Chevy window is a plastic little soldier bought by 100 pieces in a supermarket)... But I prefer metal 20mm figures...
