2139, the atom is king, it powers our homes, our cars, it keeps us safe. Or so we thought...... It was the golden age of nuclear power, safe limitless energy thanks to the discovery of micro fusion, one tiny cell able to produce power previously unheard of for something so small, this led to an economic explosion, the motor industry developed the micro fusion engine, and with that came the ionodrive, a system that propelled vehicles along on a carpet of charged ions, with no moving parts the fusion-ionodrive setup revolutionised transport, next to zero maintenance ment the cost of transport fell dramatically, and the future of motoring really came to the masses. Over the coming decade science would advance at an alarming rate, however when science advances so quickly often things are overlooked, morality was brushed aside in the name of progress, society became self absorbed, materialistic, corrupt and vain, genetic research went on unchecked, many atrocities occurred behind closed doors. Many people having extra cash now underwent genetic cosmetic enhancement. Able to resculpt the body with the new found technology. Society continued to push on towards its 'ideal'. But then the problems began. Base levels of radiation slowly increased in urban areas, reaching unsafe levels in most cities by 2148. Rates of cancer amongst the urban population soared, then to top it off it was found that the charged ions produced by vehicles fitted with ionodrives were harmful when breathed in, now most people had been exposed to a decades worth of harmful atmospheres, and were now dying. The world was in crisis. Many smaller third world countries were all but wiped out, the superpowers turned to their genetic research for a solution. When the 'solution' was was discovered, (a vaccine to genetically alter the body and make it immune to the contaminents of the modern world) there was precious little time to test it and it didn't come cheap. Unable to fund treatments for the entire population governments were literally charging for the right to live. The riots came. By 2151 most countries had broken out in civil war. The poor died and the rich lived, most becoming the poor in the process, inter-country relationships broke down as each country battled for self survival. The 'solution' turned out to be a disaster. Those who had previously undergone genetic enhancement suffered severe reactions to the treatment, skin cracking and peeling, horrific disfigurement and bizzare mutations. Those who were now 'immune' had paid a heavy price for survival. Society had all but dissolved. Unable to contol the refugees fleeing from many countries Borders were shut, shortly after war broke out among European states fighting for the now dwindling resources. War spread like a disease, without the poorer countries producing food the supplies ran out, smaller states were swallowed up in the push for land and resources, Then a desperate Chinese state invaded the Americas, resulting in the largest land, air and sea invasion the world had ever known. As americas allies were now few and far between all hope was lost. Millions died. And on the brink of defeat America did the unthinkable... Warning sirens sounded across the country, the president announced to the world they were "better dead than red" as he bid his fellow countrymen a fond farewell America hit the reset button, a gunshot rang out across the live broadcast to the world. As the most powerful man in the world slumped back, dead, for the world to see, we knew it was over. The bombs dropped. The world as we knew it ended in 2152. |

Hi guys here are some shots of me working on the rule book first edition which will be given to play testers and reviewers, one funding is sourced I will look to have a hard back edition made with any rule amendments/corrections etc.   there are a few errors in the last one (its WIP) some concept art, Son of khayn in leather armour (made of human):   various SOK concepts:       early power armour concept:  Female Raider Boss:  Raider Pyromaniac:  and last but not least the WIP mascot  hope you like them, Kickstarter is unavailable for the UK as of now, but i'm looking to some alternatives like indiegogo. |

Hey guys, ( or those of you who follow my work ), im working on some design sheets showing how the Sons of Khayn models will actually be produced, detailing the various pieces in the multi part kits, there will be blisters with whole models or separate pieces available to customize your models as they progress through the game, first ones I plan to show you are the light armour and metal armour kits, with lots of optional heads and helmets, also the power armour kit, which is universal to all factions but comes with extras to allow customization to a particular faction, sound good eh?

Hi guys just popping in to say i'm still not dead.. I just wander off into the wastes for long periods!! this project is very much alive but i'm not happy with putting up drips and drabs so I have some far better stuff coming I have a publisher for the book and the concept art is looking a lot lot better! exciting times ahead!! |
