I've started working on the vehicle part of my 15mm 'lead pile'. First is an armoured car with a minigun, using a 15mm.co.uk Light Tank, for my sci-fi Mars Project, but which could also be used for PA: ![]() Uploaded with ImageShack.us Second is an MBT, using a Khurasan Miniatures Red Banner tank, for another sci-fi use, but which could also be used for PA: ![]() Uploaded with ImageShack.us I'll prime them sooner or later; I think I'll paint both with a "dirt planet" (Mars) rust-red/black/brown camouflage scheme. A problem I have with that tank is that the barrel is a very heavy metal part, and thus has sunk down toward the chassis despite good amounts of contact glue. Any idea about how to keep it at an appropriate angle? |

You could try a two part epoxy glue such as Araldite. The other option is to pin it. Drill a small hole about 0.8mm to 1mm diameter. Glue in a paperclip. Trim it to size. Dab the end of the paper clip in red paint. Then put into position and there should be a red dot where you need to drill. Drill a second hole here. The barrel then stay in place. |

More 15mm vehicles have been built, and now await priming and paint! First are four Robotanks (15mm.co.uk Tracked Heavy Automata) for a sci-fi project, but these could have post-apocalyptic uses as well: ![]() Uploaded with ImageShack.us Second are three BTR-70s (from QRF) to serve in STALKER games, as well as in my Valieskan Civil War ultramodern setting: ![]() Uploaded with ImageShack.us Third is a Rebel Minis Merka5 MBT, to serve as a Merkava VIII for my Unholy Land (post-apocalyptic Israel) setting: ![]() Uploaded with ImageShack.us Fourth is a Khurasan Miniatures Red Banner tank, in Red Lightning configuration, with some updates, for sci-fi gaming: ![]() Uploaded with ImageShack.us And, finally, a comparison shot of all of my current vehicles: ![]() Uploaded with ImageShack.us And yes, that Red Lightning is H-U-G-E! The Robotanks are about 35mm tall, so in 28mm they'll still be a bit larger than humans and could serve as very nice warbots IMHO. |

Here are three armoured cars to serve in the fascist White Legion in my Novi Stalingrad 2072 game. So far I've assembled and primed them with grey (to emulate feldgrau - [sp?]). They still need some spot details coloured in, then inking to add some shading, then some drybrushing, then adding German Cross decals and then being sealed.![]() Uploaded with ImageShack.us |

I've got three snap-together plastic Zvezda 1:100 T-34's from eBay. I intend to spice them up to futuristic specs with some bits from GZG and 15mm.co.uk as well as some plasticard to serve as Red light tanks in my Novi Stalingrad 2072 wargaming setting. So here they are being unboxed: ![]() Uploaded with ImageShack.us |

Thanks! By the way, they are pretty small models; about the size of 15mm.co.uk Light Tanks (AKA armoured cars). So the Reds will have TONS of infantry, 12 walkers and 3 light tanks; the Fascists will have a handful of high-ELAN infantry, 4 armoured cars and two heavy tanks. |

I've converted the three Zvezda 1:100 plastic T-34 tank models into something more futuristic/post-apocalyptic for my Stalingrad 2072 project, using bits from Ground Zero Games and 15mm.co.uk. Here is the latest work-in-progress: ![]() Uploaded with ImageShack.us |

On a second thought I'll possibly keep these for a future Weird/Zombie War II project and use Khurasan Red Lightnings for my Reds... |
