Warriors of Nu Sodom City....

Or should I say More Warriors of NSC!!

As the three warriors I had were a bit lonely I decided to add some more.

These minis are plastic Warzone Bauhaus conversions with Iron Pig heads. I forgot to sculpt hoods on them. Ah well we will pretend that never happened! ;)

I tried adding scars but they havent come out too well in the pictures. :(

The Lawbringers!!

The Lawbringers are a gang operating out of Liberty City. They see it as their mission to go out into the wastes and bring Law and Order to the Wastes. Often they pursue Raiders, Bandits and Slavers beyond the City's Territories. Lord Snipe is happy for this gang to operate like this as it eases the burden on the City's Watch and Mercs. He helps them along by putting bounties on the heads of bandit leaders or other unpleasant characters.

The minis are a mixed bad. The woman is unknown, foundry maybe? The guy at the front with the Shotgun is Copplestone, the two guys at the back are EM4 and the Robot is by Golgo Island (East Riding Miniatures). The woman at the front was not painted by me. One of those Ebay purchases.

True, that would break one of the Man Rules in the "Unwritten Manual: The Code of Manhood". I like the rhyming possibilities of Rule and tool... Quick! to my poetry Notebook... er, my Manly Notebook of Ideas!

edited for horrible spelling!! :stab:

GZG Amazon Special Forces to answer your question.....well the sergeant is, and going by the style of sculpting I'd wager the others are too.

Is it just the angle or has this feller has a bit of a mutated head? I'm thinking "Pin Head!"

Thanks Ross. I thought someone would know. :D

Pinhead's head isn't that small. I think it's the camera angle and the stupid cap he is wearing isn't helping. Still muties are accepted as equals in Liberty city provided they don't smell too much, dribble on everything or drink everyone's beer! :D

I call that minature "Dumbo" because of the size of his ears. If a bumblebee can fly, so can he!

NSC also make use for prisoner squads from the slave pits and force them into battle for the city. They are normally used for suicide missions or as cannon/bullet/mutant fodder. Not surprisingly there is a large amount of squads going rouge and gunning down their guards before escaping into the wastelands.

These are old paintjobs by me but I thought as NSC are out and about they where worth seeing. They are old Kyromek Space Marines..apart from a Hasslefree and a EM4 mini at the back.

Stalkers....no community can do with out them. These dare devils go out into the ruins and dig out essential supplies or old world loot. They got their name from the way the creep about the ruins avoiding horrible mutant beasties.

The mini is from the Assault Group and is a modern Russian. I got him as part of TAG's recent freebie giveaway (thanks guys!).

Very cool! Conscripts and Stalkers... I see a scenario there somewhere. Perhaps a recently escaped band of prisoners is secured up in an old ruin and the Stalkers happen to be scavanging nearby, and they think bounties may be better money than the scrap they found?

I like the convict mob, they have a real cannon fodder look. Maybe you should add a guy with dynamite like the New Vegas powder gangers.

I have had this little lot sitting there sadly waiting to be photographed. Real life has been getting in the way. So now...for your viewing pleasure....I give you...some minis! :D

I decided that my Vermen needed some extra fire power so a Skaven gatling gun has been added.

Liberty city is slowly getting populated. This time its a Freelancer...Mad Rab.

Posted Image

Mad Rab is a Pictsie Tribal and loves fighting. So the city are keen to employ him as extra muscle for those dirt jobs that need doing. He has been known when drunk (which is nearly always) to pick a fight with himself if there is nothing to fight. I am not too keen on the sculpt of this mini.

Other places are getting extra folks too. The town of Laird has a Steampunk feel to its residents so I had to add this lady. She will probably turn up in my Steampunk/VSF games too.

Posted Image

The mini is by Black Cat bases. Its a nice figure to paint with plenty of detail.

And what is a Post Apoc Stetting without a couple of Vaulties??

Posted Image

This are to be used in various ways. Vault defenders, adventurers or guns for hire. The lady is a repainted clix. The guy is a Necromunda Van Sarr figure. He is sporting some sort of modified Vault Suit. Maybe its some fancy intelligent armour?

The friendly (and annoying) little Robot known as a Claptrap is around to help, give information and be annoying. These guys often find themselves being used for target practise! Although he will be used in my Sci-Fi games there is a chance that MBW may still have one or two of these fellas still running about.

Govannon now has ifs Warlord and bodyguards...

Posted Image

These are rarely seen outside the Mountain complex. These are old 40K Squat Hearthguard.

The first of my Brit Apoc figures..... Old One Eye Hogdes.

Posted Image

Posted Image

One Eye got his name by losing an eye during his service with the British Army. He was retired and kept busy as a Army Cadet instructor. When the end came he and the cadets where acting as a reserve in the barracks where they where based. After three days there was no contact from the deployed forces. Assuming that they where lost and they where forgotten about he lead the scared boys (and the barracks Caretaker and Daughters) to another TA Barracks three miles away crossing a crater and bombed out ruins with the hope of picking up similar survivors.

The Barracks was deserted and looked as if the survivors has retreated. As they could drive any of the remaining vehicles they would have to head to the local base outside the city, 10 miles away.

On the way they passed Seaforth container base to find that a massive fort had been built from ships cargo containers. The boys where challenged. One Eye explained that they where headed to Altcar Base. The people manning the fort told him that the next four miles was over run with virals and triffids. There was no way boys with bolt action rifles could make it through. One eye and the boys joined Seaforth and now provide some the Rebuilders faction's security.
