The other thing would be to add some sort of stud or rivets to the plates. The one on the bonnet looks like it is resting on. There are a few ways to do it. I like to use a 1.5mm hole punch to punch them out of card. Another method is to blob on thick super glue with a cocktail stick. Alternatively you could run a thin bead of putty in a couple of places around the edges of the plates to give them that spot welded look. |
