These are my first ever efforts to make some terrain and vehicles for me to play in. I opted for the cheap and cheerful option, cardstock. Last time I put together a model was at least 24 years ago, so I apologize for the shoddy workmanship, but hey, I can only improve from here :(|loopy:

When I got more time, I hope to dab some more PA-suitable stuff on them, but for now I've got a few buildings and stuff that need to be done.

The mini is my latest addition, Reaper Chronoscope Tyrell, Zombie Survivor.

Legionnaire card stock terrain has come a looong way and yours looks good.I always get glassy eyed when it comes to insert tab A into slot B and glue.I end up glueing my fingers to the stock ripping off detail to free myself. My first terrain I made from paper mache, lets just say it wasn't a good idea!

It looks good. I have to admire people who can make cardstock look good. My attempts always leaves me frustrated. I never was good with card. :D What else is there for this set?

The stuff are from several different "kits", but I take the parts that I can use and don't look too nice to begin with, also found some awesome free buildings with a Chip Shop, Gun Shop, Checkpoint and a Garage, here's the link: http://www.germy.co.uk/paper25mmnew.html

It's still a bit of trial and error, in hindsight I should've used a bit thicker cardboard for the Power Station, it's slightly flimsy and my biggest problem is size 11 fingers to size 2 flaps, but I'm getting better at it. It also goes quicker and quicker to assemble the things. Print an A4 sheet, glue it with my trusty UHU-stick to suitable cardboard (cerealboxes or whatnot), cut with scissors and scalpel and fold, put sellotape on and there we are!

Got plenty of buildings, vehicles and urban props (phonebooths, traffic signals, mailboxes etc.) but need some shacks and rural wilderness, probably order that stuff from Black Cat Bases at payday.

Due to family visiting, work and training I haven't made much progress since last time, but here's a few more bodged paper terrain pieces. The photo quality is also a WIP...

Legionnaire buy a glue stick, they're wonderful to use for paper terrain! You're also too harsh on the work and pictures.

It all looks good to me!
Honestly, I've tried putting together paper models, and it's just too difficult for me.
Then again, I can't draw or cut a straight line, so that may explain it. :D

I have a glue stick that's wonderful for sticking the printed paper to the cardboard, but quite useless to glue cardboard to cardboard with, it just comes apart. I have resorted to sellotape and on occasions "other" methods. As stated, it's a lot of trial and error here, so the glue sticking problem might be avoided with letting the glue set for longer and I've scavenged thinner cardboard than previously that should be easier to manipulate ie. bending and folding. Or is there a difference between gluesticks capabilities? I'm using the UHU one.

Dimitri: As for drawing a straight line by hand, I couldn't do it even to save my life. Cutting wise, as long as I have a line to follow, I can do OK.

If you can find one near you, go to a scrapbooking store, and ask what types of permanent glue sticks, tapes, etc. they carry. My wife all kinds of special glueing/taping thinks for various papers, cardstock, etc. Also, for glueing cardboard to cardboard, in the old days I used Testors fast drying wood glue. Stinky, but was good on thick paper products, and had enough body to form a bead in corners and whatnot, also didn't stain the paper. Sometimes I used to use balsa would strips for a little reinforcement.

White wood glues (The yellow-tinted ones tend to stain) are a good choice.
If you can find a general hobby/craft shop, keep an eye out for any of the thicker 'craft' glues. Decent PVA works wonders.

Thanks Dimitri.

I've got the GW's PVA glue but maybe because I print on paper and glue it to cardboard before assembly, it doesn't do the trick (the paperflaps will not stick). An alternative method that I'm going to try is to do as usual, but cut off the flap from the paper, leaving it only on the cardboard. Maybe that'll work. Trial and error have stood mankind in good stead for a very long time...

Especially the chippy and the other buildings from that site that I'm constructing, a Bar and Gun Shop are in the pipeline.

Now that family visit is over I can get going again, this is a building I'm pretty happy with. Took me about 3 hrs from start to finish, including pasting and cutting out the parts. This is supposed to be my Bunker army's latest acquisition "The Brahmin's Heads". In the interior shot 2 can be seen the reason for the police's precense in the bar  .

Looks like it'll do the trick. Love the signs and slogans.

Would be better if it was fully 3D though ;)
