Mostly due to my miniscule scratchbuild talents, but also because it seems a nice shortcut to get my terrain at least moving on forwards, I've looked into different cardstock terrain.

I've found some that should take a short while to assemble, even vehicles that don't look too bad. Scale seems fine for my 28's so I'll post some when I've got them, maybe in a day or two.

The other thing is, they're dirt cheap and not heavy on the wallet! More over for minis then :(|madlaugh:

I'm all about the card stock and paper buildings especially the free ones off the internet. Unfortunately, it still takes talent to put a lot of these things together :-/

There was a posting from long ago where a paper construct of a cannibalized car was used as terrain and looked very good. The Wastelander, whose name has be irradiated from my mind even posted the printy of the said car. Quite a few gamers have bias against paper usage in their games but not I. Plus it's really good for mock-ups and stand-ins.

Remember you're just setting up a stage.

As long as it does the job I don't care whatever you use, be it resin/ metal kits for megabucks or representations that costed the paper they're printed on. Besides, I can get hold of a truckload of cardboard at work and I'm recycling :(|thumbs:

You could always print maps off, there's some really good ones on the net mostly aimed at RPG players. If you don't mind it being 2d there's a ton of good stuff.

Dicey, do ya mean tiles? :)

Legionnaire, I collect cardboard too, much to the chagrin of the wife. She asks, "Why? Don't ya have enough already??" The missus has incidentally trespassed on my rat's nest and begun to box items up to my horror and dismay!!

So far I've only got a wee pile in the corner of one of our rooms... I'll have to try to put some together now.

Sellotape and UHU stick are my new two best friends! It isn't pretty, it isn't arty done, it's bodged with a bish and bosh, but it works for me. I might put up some pictures of these first attemts at assembling card scenery, need to put a bit of PA touch on them first...
