![]() ![]() So, as most of you know I am fresh meat, just kicked off my whole PA project less than a month ago.I've been bargin hunting, terrain and vehicle planning, moshing together some figs and planning my board. But I need to cut some corners . There is just too much to do So I am doing some thinking on undead gangs.I have this group of ghouls and vampire ,on second floor, and I am thinking they might be doing some double duty.Has anybody used vamps and classic undead in a pa system?I know there are some figs out there like that ,should get a new vamp, more modern but it would cut down on da painting.whats your thoughts on this ?

just wow, simply amazing! where are all those Ghouls from?i really like the Fattie with the Bone (Heresy Conversion perhaps?) the tiny one and the Leader with Sword!Fantastic Paintjob except for those silly green Bases i would paint them in a more earthy Colour As for Rules iam a Big Fan of Game/Dice controlled Zombie/Ghoul Hordes. All Things Zombie for example is a very funny System where Players fight united against a large Game controlled Horde, pretty cool Stuff and actually you can adapt such Sytem to any Rulesset.I did so with the Killzone Rules (perfect for small Skirmishes) and for larger Battles we actually use the Void Rules ( Stats for all kind of Vehicles,Walkers even Flyers and large Creatures) The Zombie/Ghoul Horde usually starts from the Middle of the Gameboard, they always move toward the nearest living Modell,a Dice Role decides how far they move... |

I think they fit in really nicely just as they are and definitely suitable for PA gaming. |

I was thinking they would work too.Herr Doctor most of those models are Hersey ,the fat boy is the vanilla version of the ghoul king and the dude with the sword is the winged vampire sans wings. They are based for mordheim , unfortantely dont get to play that band a lot but I sure dodt want to rebase. |

I think quite a few of us have used Zombies and Ghouls as Post Apoc counterparts. I have a Rad Ghoul horde that is made up from GW Ghouls and a Rad Zed horde that is mostly fantasy zombies. There is no real distinction between them and they work for both. Your Ghouls would work as nasties in some place your gang(s) are trying to secure. Nice paint jobs btw!

They could be some type of feral cannibalistic mutant. Of course, it's your PA and if you want supernatural undead, I doubt anyone here is gonna hassle you. Edited by consectari, Jan 10 2011, 04:30 PM.

Getting a real I Am Legend feel here, very cool. I think vampires and the undead in general are timeless enough to fit into PA, or most other settings pretty well. |

Inky, Those gouls are ace, most definately " I AM LEGEND ". Have you seen the gouls from mantic games, very nice . I played a Necromunda style game last year with plague zombies and gouls closing in on gang members one by one, made harder by d6 gouls coming on each turn randomly. Gang of 12 goliaths only 2 made it to the exit point, at least the undead got to have lunch..... |
