Finally finished this project I have had sitting around for a while. The perfect opportunity to prevent myself returning to lurker only status.

The Battlebus. Mobile home for some nomad-types (who I haven't painted yet sadly). I aim to have a couple of trucks full of scavenged bits plus a few more 'homes' to complete the set. Hope you like it.

Amazing work. I can't wait to see the figures that go with it and hear their story.

Brian,

The bus is a corgi 1/50. Mattblackgod, the upsidedown answers to the parts quiz are - front from an Ork trukk (on the roof at the front), front hatch from an old style Rhino (left hand side at the front). Roof gun is also Orky, with a GZG mount. Rear wheel cover is also from an Ork Trukk. Spare engine on the roof is from Ramshackle. Rear comms dish is Grendel/Kryomek (they're great and you can buy packs of them separately) Everything else is pretty much scratch built.

I -love- the corrosion effects you used on the basic bus itself. Grungy and nasty without being too over-the-top.

I tip my hat to you, sirrah.
Or I would if I wore a hat.
