:coffee: I like this. it's always good to post before and after pics with some WIP between. it shows again and again that good quality terrain pieces usually have humble beginnings and that almost everyone can do it.

just DO IT

and post your pics.. :drunk:

You sure know how to breathe some 3-dimensional goodness into those cheapees. Swell stuff, and the vendor is rather charming.

That ties it...I am picking up one of these types of things at Dollar General, cheap ($3.50 last I looked), and doing something along these lines.

Thanks Batko, there was a blank space there on the false front building and I figured I could either do a boarded over door or a machine and it was too fiddley to do the other side since I allready put on the roof so I went with the vendor. Its just some foamcore with some clear plastic on the front and one of those hot pocket boxes from Tinkers link, and some thin card for a little detail.Glued the box to the building and painted every thing black inside ;) Do it Fantasy Fixtures! My DG has about a dozen left, thinking about getting a few more any ways .The false fronts add just enough details to enhance the realism and its pretty easy to "ruin up " the rest. GO MAN GO!!!

My dollar shop never has anything this good, so it's especially nice to see what you get and do with them.
