Just opened this tread for showing photos of my WIP in my city, and ask questions about it. It's gonna be my bigger terrain project, and here are experienced people who can help a lot!
Following the instructions of some people here, i just added some rust and unclean to my mounts of rubble and rubbish. Here some photos:

I think people here were right, and the result is much better :Arr:
NOw, my next project it's making some destroyed walls and one or two destroyed buildings. I've made a little wall for practising. What do you people think about this?

I'd say that's a -great- start for a collection of ruined buildings!

About 12 small pieces like that with a few larger ones and you my friend, have a solid gaming board.

The dirty and rust really make it feel Post Apoc. Nice work. I like the ruined corner. Its a great start to a PA city/ruin scape.

The terrain is looking better; but you need more smaller bits of debris on all the pieces, especially the foundation area of that corner building. It looks as mom came through with a broom and dustpan to clean before the bad guys showed up so the place didn't didn't look too bad  That is where lots of terrain makers turn to clean "Kitty Litter" for effect.

Take a look at building that may be abandoned in your area. garbage collects at the side, weeds grow... etc; now multiple that effect because of an Apocalyptic occurrence.

You're right, men! Mayne that's the reason because i see my bits and don't get satisfactied at all...
I'll put some stuff on the corner in the next days. I don´t know if putting some weed or not in the table. You mean weed on all the table, or just on some terrain parts?

By the way, just posted a few photos of the actual state of my city on my blog. There are photos of some people who live on my city. All good people, you know...

Can see here: Mas de lo mismo

Weeds as an example only, if you like the idea you do what ya want with 'em. I still haven't decided if I'll add them to my own pieces or what colors.

Just so you know my criticism of your terrain is observations I made of from my own terrain.

Just added the broken glass, some glass on the floor, a can of beer, the bottle and the iron stick.
What do you think about? It's cool now.
I'm doing some more building ruins now. In few days maybe i'll have some part of the city yet! :Arr:

pauix- try running a small line of glue along the bottom edge of the wall then sprinkling some sand and CLEAN cat litter on it. This will simulate gravel and small rubble that has piled up at the base of the walls.

Ok, just followed instructions and began the cat litter revolution. In this corner, there's no much add ons because there was no space and just added a few "rocks", but few rocks made big difference.
Thanks! This is the result:

The rest of the ruins, with this add ons, are now real :Arr:

What do you think about this now? I think it can become a cool post apoc city :Arr:
