Those are excellent paintjobs my man. Those china dolls, goblins, and dwarves would be great starts for a GobbledyGook brood!

Ah, the old Confrontation minis... Excellent sculpts and an excellent paintjob – really well done! But why did you leave the bases untouched?

Thanks!
The reason of the untouched bases is that i don't have any "fantasy" terrain. When i'll finish some parts of my postapoc city, i want todo some fantasy terrain, bits, etc... and then i will make something with the bases. I need some practise doing forrester terrain cause i don't make something similar since 4 or 5 years ago!
Just returned to "mini's world" a year ago...

I really like your paint style, kinda artistic and cartoony with extreme highlights that look good up close, and GREAT from normal viewing distance.

Okay, color me impressed.

Honestly, they look better to me than the photo-shopped pics for every 'artsy' miniature boutique on the web.

The goblin geisha is pretty much pure 'win', right there.
Like I said, color me impressed!(And envious of your skill.)

What about theming your apoicalypse terrain with overgrown buildings and lots of wild grass?

That way you can get some practice in with greenery and the like...

Ross: Whoa men!!! just discovered your work on your web!! :jaw:

Seriously: i want to be like you :drunk:

Ok, i need lots of post apoc stuff just for starting... there is a post for talking about this without getting off topic?

By the way, i'm planning to do some fantasy scenery, and practise making veg scenery (i made some things years ago, and were not too bad stuff), but my problem it's that i want to introduce my geisha and samurai goblins into my postapocalyptic world too*, and maybe a typical veg base with his browns and greens will make a "visual shock" (don't know the exact word for that idea).... So i'm thinking now what exactly i can do...

*: think about that: samurai, ninja and geisha post apocalyptic mutants! if they were zombie too, they were perfect :witchdr:

You just can't do it all pauix. We've discussed the matching of figure bases to the gaming mats and building bases. The only way you can make it work is to just build dioramas, have lots of money to buy a multitude of the same figure, or change the figure base to meet the situation.

Thanks for the compliments pauix :)

If you're after a discussion on terrain, just start a thread in the terrain section stating what you're planning and ideas, chuck in some questions and you'll be right.
Oh, there's no worries about derailing topics...... pretty much all topics on here degenerate into smutt or movies or really bad jokes :D
