Well after seeing Mr Cleans ..."IT" terrain piece, I decided to try my hand at something larger than a single building. As a friend had brought me some good materials for basing larger pieces(some 6mm mdf type board) I decided I would try a small area of a sub division in my fictional New Boulder City. It is 1foot by 2 foot ![]() Started out thinking a bunch of houses. ![]() ![]() Actually finally decided on 6 houses and not eight. Wanted to leave a bit of room for "backyards" |

That looks like a great method for making roofs. I made one suburban home with roof shingles cut from sand paper.Looks good, burnt me out quick. Brian |

Pretty cool project. I look forward to seeing it progress. I am guessing that these will be intact buildings, possibly occupied? Is it for a Zed or fallout type setting? I have to admit I have been toying with the idea of building a PA town for some time. I am trying to decide to go for the shanty, adobe, or intact/repaired building route. Possibly a mix of all three. I also want to make a some semi intact ruins for my table for my scavenging parties to fight over. So far I am thinking a semi ruined hospital and supermarket. |

Yeah they are meant to be intact. It is a Zed thing mostly. I am still not sure how I want to play a PA type game (rules etc). I have a drawing for a shanty town that is on my list of want to make . Hmm you know wouldnt be that difficult to fallout these... let me think on this but I wwill post more pics as I work on it.. getting good at remembering to do WIP pictures. |

In "Earth Abides", the survivors simply took over abandoned houses. Eventually disused houses collapsed, but the ones they lived in were still in use after 50 years. |

Good start. Once the houses are on the board and you're at play any imperfection will dissolve. |
