Ok so I had started this some time back, meant to be a "no-tell" motel or apartment building. as you can see the floors are able to separate. Still left is some interior walls, and the outside. the only recent progress I have made is to get it primed. Still haven't made up my mind what I want the outside to look, what kind of "surface" to make the walls.

Good start! Are you using a wooden floor tile as a base for the buildings?

What band miniatures do you have? I forgot about having a set of band members too. Of course mine are those old GW Orkz  Chronoscope has some in their catalog if others might be interested.

I actually have two bands.. One I believe was Copplestone, the other EM4, Gives all new meaning to "Battle of the Bands" . And yes the piece of wood got used for the base, actially came from an old(as in made of wood and not particle board) desk. I will post some updated pics this week.

I like the motel!
I see how you joined the two floors,i did something like that once and had a heck of a time getin' them together after painting.
Let us know how it turns out.

Yeah I had a hard time with that at first. Then (and it doesnt show well in the picture, I "beveled" the edges of the top floor a bit. The hotel has been primed and fits. Snugly, but does come apart a bit better.
