Its all Pil's fault...blame him.... Up in the Keinnie Mountains lies a cave network. In these caves a natural pure source of spring water has been discovered. As these springs where seen as a miracle to the survivors they became known as Angel Springs. Today a bottling and storage plant has grown in the valley of the cave and Angel Springs supplies clean water across the Brittannia Wastes. ![]() The minis are L to R - first 4 Hetzerdog Babylons Burning Scavs, Foundry, EM4 Future Wars and a Hetzerdog Babylons Burning Scav. ![]() This is the Sales Woman who uses her whiles and bargaining skills to ensure the gang get a decent amount of loot for their water. ![]() Archie - the prospector. Archie is often out and about in the Wastes looking for other sources of clean water. He is quite knowledgeable about what to look for in different types of terrain. As such he is often guarded by mercenaries as Archie is quite valuable. ![]() Burt and Ernie...these guys look after the water storage plants, pipe works and company vehicles. Burt is working on some sort of filter and treatment apparatus that he hopes will provide all the wastelands with clean water one day. ![]() This is the security for the gang. More guys, gals and vehicles to follow.... |

Looks good Danny, those BB minis really have alot of detail and character. Can't wait to see the trucks. Don't feel bad, Pil's water merchants have infected alot of us. Edited by consectari, Oct 4 2010, 04:38 PM.

Just collecting water trucks right now. I liked the idea so much, I've decided to make safe water the most valuable commodity in my setting. It just made so much sense because my apoc. was brought on by a combination of NBC attacks. Making large quantities of water safe to use is beyond most settlements, so I decided I needed a faction with the equipement and know how to do it. |

Funny that, as its a problem in my setting too as the war went Bio and chem attacks before the world was nuked. The corporations (Risen and Krap2idiots) supply clean water at a price (in Risen's terms it usually means slavery to the corporation). The bunker cities also supply clean water at a price, with the exception of Aryanreiche that currently cant afford to. Much of the wastelands has dirty or contaminated water supplies. It may keep you alive but your health will suffer if you dont treat and clean it. In some places it may kill you out right or lead to mutations. A few settlements have wells and many cities have some sort of water treatment plant. But that is often dodgy and breaks down a lot. I am leaving my options open for a band of heros to go hunting the water chip!

Both are very cool The one on the right looks vaguely Copplestone-ish too, sculptwise. There's a Scav still available with a very similar gun.

GOOD STUFF DANNY! CLEAN water is also a valuble commodity in my PA setting. various size nukes, chemical and bio weapons were available and used freely in my world, too. makes for a really crummy place to find potable water supplies, among other things. especially in the wastelands, where water of any kind can be scarce.
