After I've posted a list of potential 15mm figures for a S.T.A.L.K.E.R-type setting, here are several vehicles to serve as transportation - or, if abandoned, as terrain - in a S.T.A.L.K.E.R-type setting: * QRF Mil Mi-24 Hind E, as used in the Zone. * QRF T-72 and T-80, for your armour needs. * QRF BTR-80, a common terrain feature in the Zone. * QRF Gaz 66 Truck, common terrain in the Zone. * QRF Ural Truck, another good terrain feature or transportation. * Peter Pig GAZ 469 Jeep, common in the Zone. Does anyone know where I can get cranes, tractors and Russian-type civilian cars in 15mm? |

Some nice 15mm stuff there. Sadly I have no idea about civilian stuff in 15mm. |

Would typical 1-Dollar Store (or, locally, 1-Shekkel Store, which is about 25 cents) small toy cars work well as terrain and/or vehicles for 15mm gaming? |

Possibly... If they're matchbox/hotwheels size, they're usually too large when placed next to 15mm, but I think they'd work fine as terrain. |

Well, I'll just buy one pack and test it out; it's not that it would cost me much

You could try your local model train store too. |

I'm not sure if there are model terrain stores around here in Israel... I'll check in Tel Aviv (about 40 minutes by train from where I live), if there is a model train shop in Israel, it would probably be there. EDIT: I googled this and apparently there is one (maybe the only one?) model train store in Israel, and is in Haifa (2 hours by train from where I live, plus 20-60 minutes by bus). But I don't know how much of their stuff is 1:100 or 1:120 scale, which are essentially 15mm. Edited by Golan2072, Sep 20 2010, 07:04 PM.

hmm that does make it difficult to get things in, I expect you may be limited to mail order then. |

I'll look in the 1-shekkel (circa 25 cent) stores near where I live, then. I saw several toy cars there that looked close to 15mm. |
