I'm quite a newbie when miniatures are concerned; I started buying and painting them about a year ago, so my collection isn't THAT big and my skills are still very rudimentary. I like 15mm miniatures as they are cheap and small enough for my tight storage space and tiny table. I've finished painting a bunch of Rebel Minis Armed Gunmen (with a Sahadeen Heavy Weapons Pack thrown in for variety) some time ago for use in various games, including post-apocalyptic. They would probably fit right in in S.T.A.L.K.E.R as bandits. ![]() Uploaded with ImageShack.us Bandit Close-Ups: ![]() By golan2072 at 2010-09-05 ![]() By golan2072 at 2010-09-05 EDIT: I forgot to say that my camera isn't THAT good... To say the least. Once I'll have some available money I'll definitely buy a better one with a proper macro function. Edited by Golan2072, Sep 16 2010, 11:49 PM.

From what I can see they look pretty good. But you really need MORE light when taking pictures. I started with 15mm a year ago and never looked back.

Thanks! There are many 15mm minis which would fit right into a S.T.A.L.K.E.R-type post-apocalyptic setting. Here is my potential to-buy list: * Rebel Minis Sahadeen. Hooded figures with filter masks; would probably make great Loners and Freedom. * Rebel Minis Titan Marines. Heavily armoured dudes with gas masks and heavy rifles. Would probably be perfect for Monolith. * Rebel Minis Biohazard Zombie Hunters. A perfect match for the Scientists. * Rebel Minis SAS Assault Group and SAS Elite Team. Perfect for Mercs, high-level Loners and Duty. * Rebel Minis Spetznaz Assault Team. Perfect for the Army faction. * Eureka Miniatures Sci-Fi Stormtroopers. Would probably look great for Monolith or any Stalker in an Exoskeleton. * Peter Pig Arab/PLO. With the right paint job they'll look like decent Loners or Bandits. * QRF Soviet/CIS Paratroopers and Paratrooper Command. Perfect for the Army faction. Oh, and Rebel Minis are working on even more post-apocalyptic models... Edited by Golan2072, Sep 17 2010, 10:42 AM.

Of course. I have Shadow of Chernobyl and have finished it twice (the second time with the excellent and highly recommended Oblivion Lost mod). Right now downloading S.T.A.L.K.E.R: Call of Pripyat from STEAM and hoping for it to work on my crappy computer... |

Ooo... I forgot several cool 15mm minis for your S.T.A.L.K.E.R fun! * 15mm.co.uk Octopod - for all your Bloodsucker needs! * 15mm.co.uk Rim Mercenaries - also quite Stalkerish, especially for Loners and Freedom. * 15mm.co.uk Post Apocalyptic Warriors - great for Loners and Freedom! * Splintered Light Miniatures Miscellaneous - A LOT of good animals of the S.T.A.L.K.E.R variety: dogs, boars, wolves (AKA Pseudodogs), * Splintered Light Miniatures Swarms - for all your rat requirements! Couldn't find decent miniatures to represent the Snork, Flesh, Chimera, Burer, Pseudogiant or Controller, though... |

More great recommendations...you are leading me into 15mm temptation!! Maybe 15mm Ghouls for Snorks? I am not too sure how easy it would be to sculpt a mask on a 15mm ghoul. For Flesh maybe a greenstuffed pig? Controllers - a 15mm Zombie with a enlarged head? |

Hmmm... I should really look into that Greenstuff material, it looks useful ![]() I hope you can get it locally around here (Israel)... That would save me some shipping costs. |

Looking Good. I must admit to have never played Stalker, so I can't be any specific help, but you seem to have a nice list already! |

if you can get access to GW stock, then you can get greenstuff... plus a lot of private gamestores also stock it, and pratically all hobbyists/model stores have greenstuff or an equilivant. |
