Are ya just going with the flat playing surface or will ya be adding walls? For storage it seems that staying flat will increase the number of pieces ya could store.

Ya going to run Hulk type of games or Space Pyrate boarding actions?

It looks like for the time being we are going to stay 2D. The storage situation has decided it.
We want to make up a bunch of ships to have fleet boarding actions. We have so many sci-fi figs that we need some easy to throw down terrain to get it all into play.
