Sorry it took so long to get this info to you. I've got a container of just animals, but I've yet to label any of my boxes, so it took a while to locate. The Mastiffs are 18mm tall, not including their very thin base. The are 22mm long, not including tail. I had 2 EM4 minis to hand and he comes about waist high on both. The Reaper dog is massive! Easily double the mastiff's size. He's about neck high on the EM4 minis. |

Good thing I didn't go for the reaper doggie then, the psuedo dog is barely waist high on the stalkers so the mastifs should be fine (although I may need to resculpt the face, but knowing my and my extreme lazy-ness, I may not bother). |

Right i've got a small update, and a bit of good news. Update first, 4.5/5 of Krausers mercs painted, should be finished today, hopefully while its still light enough to take some photos. Good news, i've figured out how to paint coloured skin using washes!!! I've been working on this problem for a couple years now, and i've finally cracked it!!! I'll get some pics of the mini I tested it on in a few mins... just as soon as I remember where I left my phone... *Edit* Found phone, pics taken and uploaded:  I did the skin by mixing 1 part sorched brown (very dark brown) with 3 parts elf flesh (very pale flesh) and painting on, once dry I washed in badab black (watery black wash). Its usually a pain to paint darker skin tones without using layering and drybrushing, and both techniques are types of dry painting. Nowdays I only use wet painting techniques as they give a much smoother finish, and if you do them right, they are a lot faster aswell. Now all I need to do is find a good method for painting native american skin tones and latino skin tones using wet techniques. Anyhew, im just about to do the last layer of flocking on the bases then i'll take a group shot of Jack Krauser and his Special Forces Mercenary Unit. Just give me about 15 mins to get it done and let it dry. *Edit*

Heh thanks mate, its a great way for me to expand my collection aswell... i've currently got 116 humans and 220 zombies (not counting the mercs I brought from you). Im considering naming the guy on the far right Lee... I don't know if you looked closely but he looks remarkably like Lee Evans... Just what every special forces unit needs.. a half crazy comedian... Well im currently working through the 3 new members of the nomad faction, but not really sure which group to work on next... ohh and I also have a new merc faction, but i've not named them yet. Ohh and I decided to use my last few remaining sisters as a religious sect faction... there is only 10 of them and I can't see them finding many converts in the wastelands. So whos next then: Artic Wanderers (6 minis) Night Hawks (6 minis) New merc company (5 minis) Paradisians (10 minis) Bikers (2 left to paint, and im probally going to do the remaining 6 bikes aswell) Vault Dwellers (12 minis and 2 vehicles left to paint) Sisterhood (1 mini and basing to go) Tech Addicts (just basing and some minor touching up) Lone wanderers (archer boy to be painted, and 101 to be converted and painted) More minis/factions to follow by the end of the week... but aside from the above, everything is finished. Also some of you may have noticed I altered the flocking for my wastelanders... im adding greenery to my wasteland... (I got a nice bag of green trees cheap on evilbay). Ok i've reassigned a lot of minis again... im now upto 148 minis not counting the 220 zeds (although 2 of the 148 are ghouls and 1 is a dog). But heres the factions and minis assigned to them now: Vault Dwellers: 29 infantry 2 bikes 1 buggy 1 truck 2 ghouls Nomads: 17 infantry 2 busses 3 cars Bikers: 10 infnatry 10 bikes Paradisians: 16 infantry Tech Addicts: 15 infantry Sisters of Iron: 10 infantry Night Hawks: 6 infantry Krausers Special Forces: 8 infantry Artic Wanderers: 6 infantry Streloks Gang: 4 infantry 1 dog Unnamed Merc Unit: 5 infantry Lone Wanderers: 2 infantry Unassigned: 17 infantry Hmm lots left to paint... only 66 infantry 3 cars and 6 bikes are painted... That leaves 79 infantry 2 ghouls 1 dog 6 bikes 1 truck 1 buggy and 2 busses left to paint... not counting the remaining 133 zeds that need painting... ughh i'll be here for a year... |

Well as my mini collection grows (and lost wanderers shrinks) im finding that some of the assignments I made earlier on would be better suited elsewhere... im only not changing assignments of minis that have already been painted. But im probally not going to buy any more infantry until after I do my christmas shopping (so mid oct then)... I have 4 minis left to paint for the nomads now and by the time i've done those I should have the first bus here so I can just right into that project, and by the time im done that the second bus should be here... and once thats done then the first faction will be 100% complete. |

Ok, i've finished the infantry for the nomads faction (and im taking a break from buying more until I get some of the ones I have painted), there are 17 members of this faction now, with 3 cars and 2 busses for transportation. Sorry about the poor quality on the picture but it was getting a bit late and dark whrn I took it, i'll take some more tomorrow. |
