I've been tasked with tracking down a collection of minatures... quite a specific collection. I have been asked to see if I can find a complete set of Resident Evil characters, both good and evil... So thats Chris Redfield, Jill Valentine, Leon Kennedy, Clair Redfield, etc etc for the good guys, and then Wesker and gang for the bad.... he also wants the collection of various mutants if possible... Anyone know a good place to start... or anyone willing to sculpt some? |

Recreational Conflict do a set of RE characters. I don't know which ones as I'm not that familiar with the game. I'm not a huge fan of the quality on them though. Heresy miniatures do some "lurkers" that make good lickers, just pick the right alternate head. They are out of production right now, but if you are truly desperate, I could let you have mine and just buy more when he remolds them (but if the price goes up, I'll curse you all the way to my grave ;). Hasslefree make some Jotun (sp?) that are supposed to be not-Nemesis. Hope that will start you in the right direction. |

The Jotuns are huge. Like Ogryn huge. 2 inches tall and on 40mm bases. I think a conversion of the RAFM "Scourge" would be better:

Like the conversion Chris! Don't think I can add anything to the stuff already listed I'm afriad... the Recreational Conflcit ones are probably the closest set to begin with, although IIRC Kingzombie does a couple of 'not-RE' characters, and they are rather chunky... |

Not a problem Mal. I don't really have a use for them, they are just very nice and creepy. Plus, I'm always ready to support Heresy. Someone at LAF did a conversion from a horrorclix "Tickler". Look near the bottom of the page. Beyond my abilities, but maybe you could duplicate it. |

I could probally manage that... I think the brain is a tad too large, and the licker is usually on all 4's... doable, difficult but doable... I noticed the not leon mini there, shame it only comes in a 4 pack... it leave 3 minis I have no use for... *edit* when I get a chance later i'll put together a list of characters and places where I can get their mini counterparts... see how were doing. Still got a lot of minis to find... I think I may actually have to charge my client for this job, there will be a lot of conversion work involved... and of course I expect he'll want them painted too... |

Don't forget the Umbrella Corp troopers (in RE2 - possibly later, I stopped after the 2nd volume): EM4/Copplestone gasmask troopers, Hasslefree hazmats or even possibly Eureka Soviet NBC troops. |

Right... one mini i've been looking for for a while now that i've just not found a mini of high enough quality for is Chris Redfield... he either needs to look like he did in code veronica or like he did in RE5 (the game not the movie)... of course if you find one that looks like him from the movie then that'll be great also. |

ahh crap, thanks for telling me mate... good thing my client hasn't coughed up any dough yet... *edit* which reminds me, hes cut the list back a bit, i'll post up the new list as soon as I get a copy, but there is only a couple dozen minis on the new list and he said I got most of them sourced already... still need chris though...
