Been a while since I've had time to paint. Some minor conversion work and couple weapon swaps.

I have a modified Soviet BMP recon vehicle to finish and then they're done. I'll probably end up selling them.

The only thing I don't like about IG is the size of some of the weapons... they are just unwieldly big....

That minor grumble aside, they look good.

I like the conversions, and I can see where you're coming from on the 'neo-sov' feel with the Banana-mag AKs, and resculpted helmets, but I'm not sure the effect is enough to really make them shout 'neo-sovs'

Nice conversions. I love the LMG and the mag mods to the minis. How did you make them?

No vodka yet... I hear you. They're Imp Guard that's been tarted up a little. The heads are from Devil Dog Design Russians, the banana mags are from old Heavy Gear weapon sprues. Simply snip the mag off the lasrifles and glue the new ones in place. The LMG is a Necromunda stubber with a Pig Iron head. They'll do for now.
