The miniatures are cheap to buy on eBay, they're easy and quick to paint, but more importantly to me, it's kinda funny. I have a half-dozen more of these guys that I'm going to rebase and repaint in the near future, and then unleash upon my post-apocalyptic wasteland. |

I always thought the banana 9000 from bloom county looked like a gonk droid. You should paint one up in yellow. |

MWAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! If you think about it, the banana 9000 is a perfect post apoc device. it can be a loot counter or an enemy. Assume for a second that Oliver added solar panels or a nuclear fuel cell to the B9k. He was capable of doing it, and the little pc would keep going and going. Here's what the B9k looks like:

Nice - I need to get a gonk. They would fit MBW nicely. I would use them like the Claptraps in the Borderlands computer game. Annoying little guides or assistants. There is a medical one and a hacked one that badmouths you constantly. They are so annoying that the bandits often use them for target practise.

I like it! Why can I see a couple of really badly rusted versions stacked up in fallout-style junkyard (probably next to the chrysalis higwayman), whilst a less badly rusted version meanders around squeeking in a funny mettalic pitch and every now and again trying to get someone to take a non-existant planflet or something? |
