A very nice take on Vault Dwellers, and I like the blue shade. Hey, I recognise that recon team guy, wow I only put him in the post to you Monday. :D

The stripes on yours are great. Is it free hand work? They'll fit in perfectly with the vaulties you've shown so far.

I think that the 2 I have will be sufficent.... comparing the tech level, they would have to be bunker/vault tech... and as such, very limited in numbers...

Heh thanks man...

The bikes are something of a 70/80's design... i.e. very very little in the way of details... so I painted in the yellow lines... wasn't too sure how it'd come out, but I think it looks quite 'spiffy'.

More finished minis!

I actually finished these last night, but when I use the flash on my camera the pictures are always a substandard quality... so I had to wait until this morning to take the pics.

Its the last 2 members of the vault recon squad

I have 5 more guys to buy for the vault security forces... and 5 more armed civies for the vault... plus 2 unarmed civies to buy... and mabey... just mabey 4 hazmats... (in total it'll cost around £30 for all of them.)
I know thats a hell of a lot of people to have in one facility in game terms... but its not so bad when you consider the size of the facility or that 8 of them will regularly be outside the facility.

I love them all! Very clean paintjobs and cool minis. Considering I ripped off was inspired by the Fallout Vaulties as well with my Vault expedition, I might be biased, but I think the German proverb "Better steal a good thing, than doing it badly yourself" applies very much.
It's good to see your Vault Dwellers aren't as defenseless as those in the oiginal Fallout - the 50's are over after all and thanks to Hollywood, we now KNOW what happens after a nuclear war! B-)

EXCELLENT WORK!

ACTUALLY, i do not think that y'all have too many minis for the model vault at all - it is kind of huge - plus y'all are thinking ahead when y'all do armed security for recon teams of boffins.

i like the blue/yellow paint scheme y'all used for the SECURITY DIVISION guys/gals.

matbe consider a lighter (as in azure blue/yellow) paint scheme for the non combatant vault dwellers, or possibly consider some other color like orange or red for them. i am thinking aircraft carrier flight deck crew here - where a different color jersey immediately tells the observer the wearers job at any distance.

EXECUTIVE (VAULT MAGAGEMENT)

ADMIN (ARCHIVISTS, LIBRARIANS, ADMIN CLERICAL TYPES)

MEDICAL/DENTAL

SCIENCE/EDUCATION

MAINTENANCE (PLUMBERS, ELECTRICIANS, CARPENTERS, ETC, ETC)

TECH SERVICES ( COMPUTERS, COMMUNICATIONS, ROBOTICS, POWER, LIGHTING, ENVIRONMENTAL CONTROL, AIR, WATER, WASTE MANAGEMENT, ETC)

FOOD SERVICES/RECREATION (FOOD SERVICE AND VAULT RECREATIONAL FACILITIES, IE, BARS, GYMS, ETC)

TRANSPORT (AIRCRAFT/GROUND VEHICLE/WATERCRAFT MAINTENANCE, REPAIR, STORAGE, POL TANKAGE)

WAREHOUSING/STORES (CONTROLLING, ACCOUNTING, ETC, OF THE MYRIAD OF PARTS AND OTHER ITEMS NEEDED TO SUPPLY THE VAULT)

SECURITY (PHYSICAL SECURITY OF THE VAULT, EXTRA VAULT ACTIVITIES SECURITY, LAW ENFORCEMENT, ETC)

FIRE/RESCUE (SELF EXPLANATORY)

DEPENDENT (CHILDREN/TEENAGERS/THE AGED/ THE INFIRM/ETC)

ALSO, JUST LIKE A NAVAL VESSEL OR OTHER ISOLATED FACILITY, ALL FIT ADULTS WOULD BE TRAINED IN BASIC EMERGENCY DAMAGE CONTROL, FIRE FIGHTING, AND FIREARMS SAFETY USAGE.

Yeah I did consider that... but I decided to stick with the vault theme... the highest ranking guys get white labcoats or suits, but the rest get the standard issue blue coveralls with yellow striping... the biggest way to tell the difference between the trained security forces and armed civilians is the body armour.. only the trained security get issues body armour, and only the guys who venture outside the vault get breathing aparatus.

Right... I've checked my bank and I have enough pennies left in there to order some more lead!! (Well what else as I supposed to use it for?)...

Soooooo I went shopping...

Heres what i've just brought:
http://www.hasslefreeminiatures.co.uk/pack.php?pack=1580 (for use as the doc)
http://www.hasslefreeminiatures.co.uk/pack.php?pack=2292 (for use as lab techs)
http://shop.eastridingminiatures.co.uk/aw2-139-p.asp (for use as the director)
http://shop.eastridingminiatures.co.uk/gg13-1569-p.asp (brought 2 packs for use as general workers)
http://www.em4miniatures.com/cgi-bin/ss000000.pl?PRODREF=0018&NOLOGIN=1 (0018 as staffing manager or head of security... not decided yet)
http://www.em4miniatures.com/cgi-bin/ss000000.pl?PRODREF=0323&NOLOGIN=1 (internal security)
http://www.em4miniatures.com/cgi-bin/ss000000.pl?PRODREF=0324&NOLOGIN=1 (internal security)
http://www.em4miniatures.com/cgi-bin/ss000000.pl?PRODREF=0325&NOLOGIN=1 (internal security)

That should keep me busy for a little while... i've got enough other various 28mm minis to have a second largish settlement and a couple of small roaving warbands... but me still want more lead...

They look to be Urban Mammoth/Urban War minis. Probably Viridian veterans or something.

Thanks :)

Some of the links don't work for me, but thanks for bringing ERM to my attention! I already had the Nazi Officer, I picked up the British officer in their WWWII section and a few corporate enforcers for the Judge Dredd miniatures game :)
