Hi guys. Tell me what you think of these. I for one think they're ideal characters for the post apoc wasteland. http://www.waylandgames.co.uk/Hasslefree-Miniatures/Adventurers-Zombie-Hunters/Hazmats-Squad-of-3-troopers-plus-leader/prod_10420.html?utm_content=g_keeper84@yahoo.com&utm_source=VerticalResponse&utm_medium=Email&utm_term=Hazmat%20Squad&utm_campaign=Wayland%20Newsletter%20June%2030thcontent |

I for one think the are nice figures but not nice enough for them to be £4 a mini.. Plus I have some very tasty EM4 nbc troopers :p. |

I really do like these minis, but to be honest, they'd be specalist rather than wastelanders... those suits are useless if they get even a small tear, so require constant mantinance, resources not avaliable to your average wastelander... perhaps in a vault or military bunker you'd find a few... I've considered getting a few for my own vault, to work as lab techs... pretty much the only safe enviroment in the wastelands where you could wear that outfit, for the door guards and expeditionary forces I use eM4 nbc troopers as they wear general protective gear. And I agree with kfc, they are a touch on the expensive side... espically if you want a force of them... so again, useful for small numbers of fellas in a specific enviroment, but for general protection troops, go eM4... cheaper, more realistic and faster turn around. |

Better pics here: http://empireofghosts.blogspot.com/2010/06/completed-hazmat-troopers.html?zx=d882f23725c97ced They look great, but £3.00/US$4.50 a figure is a bit much. eM4 Miniatures have some military in NBC suits that look pretty darn good for £1.25/US$1.89 each; numbers 0019 - 0023, about half way down the page. http://www.em4miniatures.com/acatalog/TROOPERS.html Have some of these guys. May paint them in "hematophobia white" suits for zombie action... Your Mileage May Vary. Edited by RavenFeast, Jul 5 2010, 10:41 PM.

Over at LAF, someone just posted a very nice Hazmat mini he'd painted. He used GZG light EVA spaceman. Might be a bit small, but turned out very nice. |
