Great new twist on the trenchers, and like Ross I love the little Coke/Pepsi details and the miner looking helmets. |

Loving the Trenchers.I have quite a few in a box some place.Really cool sculpts. The Warzone line has some miniatures that would fit well with the Post Apoc setting. The Jobians with there shotguns would make a nice faction. There will be some cavalry coming out for them too. The Capitol Rangers with there long coates would look nice too. |

Got some new dudes finished. First a Sniper and a Machinegunner to complement the last batch. ![]() ![]() The next one is a Vault Dweller in disguise - Maybe he doesn't want anyone to know where he's from, maybe he's the center of some conspiracy? Who knows? ![]() And the last: A speaker (complete with soap box to mount). Him I will use for all kinds of roles - advertising on the market place, recruiting people, gathering political support... ![]() Hope you like 'em Edited by Carrakon, Oct 1 2017, 05:08 PM.

Got something new for the Wastes: A happy little family of cannibals!![]() From left to right: Billy Ray, Cletus, Pa, Bobby Earl, Buck Those guys dwell in the underground, hence the unhealthy skin tone. As rats and other vermin are hard to hunt (and dangerous! The little buggers fight back!), they instead settled for the long pig as their main dish. Gotta say those GW zombie sprues lend themselves very well to making sick looking people. Edited by Carrakon, Oct 1 2017, 05:08 PM.

Always great to see new stuff from you, I love what you've done with the zombies and trancher parts. The one with the breathing apparatus, is that scratchbuilt or part of something else, 'cause either way I'm impressed. |

The breathing apparatus is just wire I heated over a lighter and stuck into the face mask and the tank from a GW Imperial Guard flamethrower.
Glad to hear that. Gw Zombies are absolutely brilliant for making skinny people - and when bought on ebay they also often are dirt cheap! |

With the girlfriend returning from her vacation deadline closing in, I did some extra painting and got some more stuff ready: First guy is planned as some kind of high ranking official of the newly established Republic of Texas. ![]() He's a rogue trader commissar body with the head and gun from my bitz box. Second a bunch of mercenaries. During the years in the wastes, they managed to assemble bodyarmour from a variety of sources. ![]() These are neo-soviets from the oop game 'Vor - the Malstrom' Hope you like 'em Edited by Carrakon, Oct 1 2017, 05:08 PM.

I considered that, but instead settled for this flag from the texan revolution/Republic of Texas timeframe: http://www.frenchlegationmuseum.org/images/texas-flag.jpg |

Revolutionary Flag of Texas Independence can't say I've seen it before but it is a good choice and easy to paint. Not easy for me to admit not knowing that flag considering I'm a Texan by birth. |

Nice selection of leads. The Republic of Texas figure is nice. I have a soft spot for those VOR minis. There is a real mix and match feel to them but they still maintain some sort of unit cohesion. |
