One of the things about Post Apoc is that you can make good use of skeletons on bases, terrain and vehicles. I like to add one here and there to the odd bit of terrain or model. However the only sets I know of out there are GW's. At £18 for 16 plastic skeletons it seems a bit steep. Anyone know of other skeleton manufactures? |

Now then I can heartily recommend the Battlezone Miniatures Skeletons lead tho but a joy to paint.. And only £20 for 20 figures.. I'll put some WIP's up tomorrow... Also you have the mantic ones, I am currentley working on some of their reverants.. Bit slight, I will get some pics of them aswell tomorrow, If I can decide how to pant their damn cloth... |

Mantic are the winner so far. 20 Skeletons for £12.50. Wake up and smell the roses GW! I am tempted to get a mantic Ghoul regiment too.....

My only issue with the Mantic skeletons is all the clothing they have on. Fine for "undead", a little less useful for just "dead". GW suffering from the same problem. If you've got some way to use the parts that are obviously "fantasy", they're a good choice. Could always use the leftover parts to make "deadites". A bit less important for those in the UK, but don't forget the free shipping runs out the end of April. |

My free ghouls took ages to arrive. They're pretty cool looking though. The only niggle is having to clip of all the spiky bits. |

According to the Mantic newsletter, the demand was so high that it took a while to send them all out. The ones for US and Aus etc. should be on their way now
