This afternoon I finished painting another nine Gator Guys (including their leader model and 2 heavy weapon guys) and a Starguard Light Armored Car. I hope to have pictures tomorrow when the light is good (I have to get the best possible settings for the camera, due to how bad the pictures come out anyways) That brings my painting total up to 15 figures and 1 small vehicle. Pretty good for the year so far. |

You're beating me: 10 mandroid repaints almost done, then start a Terran proxy fleet for Firestorm Armada. Looking forward to your photos! Edited by RavenFeast, Mar 23 2010, 04:27 PM.

http://www.flickr.com/photos/48551174@N03/ I got some pictures posted of my figures so far (I did forget to include the Pachydon I painted, but he will make it next time). Again the photos are not very good. It must have been a sign that the sun didn't come out this morning even here in the AZ desert that maybe I shouldn't have bothered with the pictures. But here they are anyways. |

I re-did the photos with a much, much, much better camera. I left out the LAC, but included the Pachydon. I haven't gotten much painting done last few days, nor will I. My daughter is on Springbreak for the next week. But once she is back in school, I hope to get alot more done. |

I can't say much about the sculpts (but I know the prices are good ) but the paint job you have covered 'em with is nice, and the new photos did help out! Are you going to use these figs in a Gamma World PA setting or do you intend to use them for a pure Scifi setting? Edited by tinker, Mar 30 2010, 08:31 PM.

Yeah they are $1.25 each, or even less if you buy the larger bulk packs. I myself really love the slightly silly/cartoony look of the figures. My setting is a sorta Gamma World with Alien invaders. A bit more higher tech then the standard Gamma World setting, but lots of mutant animal men. I have Rat-men, Dog-men, Moose-men, Bull-men (minotaur), Insect-men, pygmy(?) elephant-men, lizard-men and a few others. Almost all of them use the same body as the human figures that I have pictured, just the heads are changed. So that means just about everyone carries a "crappy pulse rifle" (thats what the figure description calls it, really! It does call it that!). There are a few more figures in the Blasted Planets line that I got some sample figures of and want to add to my collection. Animal-guy body type (kinda small compared to the human body), squid type guy, pig or goat head (not 100% sure which it is, but could be either I think). |

I just ordered a squad pack of Starguard Troll Battlesuits. I am not sure yet if I am going to use them as robotic soldiers or just powered suits like they are meant to be. I think either would fit in with the background setting I have in the works. Just have to wait and see what they look like in hand I suppose. |

I just tossed up more pictures of the differant figures for my PA game. Nothing is painted, but I just wanted to show off the differant figures. Also there are pics of the vehicles I bought from the Starguard range. Again nothing is painted, and some of the pics came out rather dark. |

Nice little selection of miniatures you've have there Hyperbunny! It would be convenient for the readers and you just to add your Flickr URL by altering your signature in profile options. Just like RavenFeast, v_lazy_dragon and Mattblackgod have done in this thread. Saves trying to locate with thread contains a link, especially when a thread starts spanning several pages. |
