I'm getting ready to expand on the small number of post apoc scavenger type minis I've got and was wondering how the older em4 sculpts stand beside the newer copplestone "sewer scavengers" and the like. I'm a little bit worried because the couple em4 minis I have seem to be almost teenager sized 2-3mm shorter compared to the copplestone "girls with guns" pack. Side by side pictures would be greatly appreciated if available. |

Here it is: http://s1.zetaboards.com/Post_Apoc_Wargames/topic/1192859/1/ In a matter of fact indeed about 2-3mm shorter and thinner, but guns are same size and heads, I think it wont be noticable

The size difference is down to the copplestone cast-on base - cut it off, or mount the em-4 figures on a similar depth piece, and they are spot on. Infact, many of the 'dollies' used in sculpting the later figures were those orignally used for the grenadier/em-4 range... |

Much as I dislike Threadnomancy, I wanted to put my 2 cents in on this. I have all of the EM-4/Grenadier minis and a sizable collection of the Copplestone castings, and there is little or no noticeable difference in the sizes provided they have a base that is consistant. I use the standard slotta bases on the EM4 minis and I mount the CC minis to Litko bases 1.5mm plywood 25mm rounds. It really evens them out. The few that still have a noticeable size difference isn't that noticeable.

I agree with DIGITARII - mounting CC on LITKO round wooden bases and mounting EM4 on round plastic slotta bases makes them very compatible. PIG IRON KOLONY rebels, militia, ferals, and soldiers will also fit in with the above w/o any problems. AT-43 are a bit tall but blend in well with the varied collection of mini makes in "25-mm/28-mm" that i own. DAWGIE |
