Just received my 15mm Khurusan Resistance fighters and Rockjumper vehicle. Arrived very quickly! These are my first Khurasan figures and my first resin vehicle ever, and I'm really impressed. The figures are very nicely sculpted with lots of equipment and good poses. The vehicle is a very cleanly cast 3 piece kit that fits together with no trouble - just a body and 2 track pieces. New to my wastes are a group of figures plundered from a friend's bits box sale! I call 'em "Tinker's Damned" The first two pictures are of six Confrontation Griffin fusiliers   These two figures are Ral Partha

TINKER'S DAMNED, OOOOH, I LIKE THAT, TINK! and these were lying around unloved in your buddie's bits box? for shame on him and hooray for TINK for giving them a new, loving, home ! last two are RAL PARTHA fantasy figures of some sort, right? these will look right at home in the WASTELANDS my thinks. the first six are v/2 SCAVVIES, right? i always liked the way these SCAVVIES were slightly mutated in addition to looking ragged and used worn. . . . do you have any of the SCAVVIE scalies - big, ugly mutants w/ either a hand cannon (seriously, look like a smooth bore cannon fitted with a gunstock!!) or a harpoon gun ? i have some of the v/2 SCAVVIES that i have used for "dirty mutie degenerates" for a number of years in various sci fi and PA scenarios. Dawgie, Ral Partha is correct, some from their very last year in production. No, not scavvies. the bumps on their head appear to be goggles or additional sets of goggles. The bits box that I am talking about was about 14 inches in height, and depth and a 18 inch length packed full. I was stuck but numerous spears from a variety of manufacturers, genres and eons. My friend does a constant stream of paint, assembly, and conversion commissions for people, so I don't believe he is interested in any miniature outside his field of interest. His interest is Historicals generally. |

Those Griffin Fusiliers look like a cross between Delaque Gangers from Necromunda and Forsaken Haniels from Dark Age. In fact, the one on the right of the second pic is almost in th exact same pose as one of the Haniels.

Nice stuff there Tinker - I always wish I'd picked up more Confrontation stuff before they moved to the plastic. I loved the stuff they did for Cadwallon   Bit skint at the moment, but had some pennies in my PayPal... A pirate and "Alphonso" from Black Scorpion Miniatures (I'd originally ordered Sheriff Coburn, but they didn't have him in, they offered me an alternate mini and I picked Alphonso. Then, being an indecisive bugger I emailed them again and asked for one of their pirates instead of Alphonso. Nightmare customer... They didn't have that pirate in either, so they sent me Alphonso and another kickass pirate free!) and the Nazi Vampire from Secrets of the Third Reich. I love the Nosferatu-look of the vampire:  |

Well went to Partizan today and got a pack of the East Riding miniatures Slicks (7 fig's for £7 I was impressed £3 saving :D) and also a pack of Trent Miniatures Female fighters nice mini's(5 for £4.50). Pics will follow once I take them :p. |
