i think it's because the toy line is called "starship troopers" in russia & they can't sell it outside former ussr due to copyright laws i don't think they realy enforce that rule so much since you can get them from an ukrainian on-line store |

Recieved my Chem-Troopers from Troll Forged a few days ago. Very nice figs overall but the guns definitely leave something to be desired. Thankfully the hands aren't attached so doing some weapons swaps shouldn't be too difficult. Also picked up some Shockforce troopers from MegaMinis. |

Saturday I was at a road side flea market/yard sale and found one and a half sets of Christmas village toy trains. They aren't in a standard RR scale, but are close to 28mm. For $5.00 I got 2 engines, 1 coal-car, 2 passenger cars, 2 box cars, an intact caboose, a damaged caboose, 4 feet of straight track and tons of curved track. One engine will become a wreck and the damaged caboose will become a converted living area. I've already got a plasticville train station. For years I've convinced myself not to buy those $10.00 trains from Dollar General. No straight track, not enough cars, and too big a project I'd probably never get around to. When I saw this one, all my will power just melted away. I hope I get around to it before I die. |

On a whim, I picked up the LAM Tunnel Thugs, Ruin Raiders, and Zone Dogs sets. With my Pig Iron Ferals (w/Kolony Militia heads), I didn't feel I really needed another "trench coat and gasmask" faction but... I must admit I really wasn't taken by the minis when I first saw them. Apparently, the photos I've seen do not do them justice as they look MUCH better IRL and I'm glad I got them. |
