I have got a couple of minis done - some pics to follow soon. Spent a couple of days in York. Nice place with lots of history. Surprisingly did not get much PA inspiration...maybe its wearing off?.....Naaaaaaaa! My old jalopy is in for a service tomorrow and some guy is coming to fix the boiler. I have a feeling that tomorrow is going to be expensive!!! |

I got some more toys..... well not really minis... but useful stuff none the less. One of my friends is clearing out his gaming rooms (yes thats a plural), hes given me a bix box full of terrain! Yippie! more gaming madeness to follow!! |

I wish I knew that Fishlegs. Next time as I think we will be going back as there is tons to do. We mostly wandered the streets with Laura dragging me into shops.  Is there any mini shops there?

yip yip my ramshackle order just arrived, is the iron grumbler supposed to come with the extra armour plates set? either way, cool looking minis! I think I may actually have almost enough vehicles to do a mini encounter now... Lets see.... 2 busses, 4 cars, 12 bikes, 1 van, 3 trucks, 2 buggies and a tank... nope still need more.... |

I brought the Iron Gurmbler, a half ute and a a ram stoat, the ram stoat is a really simple pipece to put together, a half blind chimp with no hands and only 1 foot could build that beastie, looks really nice though. The half ute is probally the most complex of the 3 vehicles I brought, lots of different pieces, I stgrongly recommend alligning the pieces so you can see how everything goes together before picking up the glue pot. And lastly the Iron Grumbler, this is a lovely piece of work, its also a really simple build being only 4 picese to build the tank itself, with the extras its only 10 pieces (but the extras are all no brainers). Basically all of the ramshackle vehicles are easy to build, andone with basic modelling experience should have no problem with these, however like all things, if you want to get the most out of them then some experience in working with resin is a must. The biggest pitfall to watch out for when building ramshackle vehicles is that the resin can be a bit on the brittle side (the flash is at anyrate), so when cleaning the minis be sure to to break anything off with a careless knife stroke. |

I've received and based 15mm Giants Ants by Khurasan Miniatures and I've also based today a bunch of miscellaneous 15mm minis I've bought from 15mm.co.uk a while ago. OLE DAWGIE has been working like a mad thing on his woodland INDIANS - got 40 finished, 20 half finished, and 36 NEW ARRIVED PERRY (18) and CONQUEST (18) braves waiting for LITKO round bases so they can be mounted and primed. . . best of all these two lines look like they were "made for each other"! my goal is 5 warbands of at least 20 warriors each. Recieved some Goblin sculpts from Kev Adams today.Great sculpts with loads of character.Sent them straight of for moulding with some other pieces. Also got the AE Bounty rules from Amazone today.These look great and very well put toghether. |

Picked up a heap of paints today, a big packet of balsa wood, and forked out for a GW Empire General box. Box was overpriced IMO, but I will admit it's pretty decent quality and some handy parts. Now I'm all set to make a human warband for Mordheim(sp?). |

I picked up the other 2 vehicle sets from tescos... so thats 3 big trucks, 3 regular trucks and 3 cars for £15.00. Not too bad, and they are perfectly sized for 28mm, the 3 sets avaliable are construction workers, you get a dump truck, works van and a car, fire brigade, you get a fire engine, a van and a car and the police set with a tow truck, van and car. |

Mal how in scale are those tesco toys? Mid if I ask for a quick pic? Hoping my tesco may have one if its in scale then again I'l feel rather weird buying toys.. May have to buy booze as well just to confuse the staff.. I have also been in York I was doing 3 days of heavy drinking then a really sad night.. His housemate came with his mate and brought two LCD's and two 360's and we played the HAlo Reach Campign on System link Co-op |
