So, I'm stealing this idea from the LAF, where its been going on for over 3 years. The idea is it gives folks somewhere to put up what new toys (vehicles, rules and scenery count too!) they've bought/had arrive in the mail/etc; and generally enthuse about them. It also gives folks chance to see what other people are up to and ask questions about systems/figures they may not have been aware of! The stuff doesn't have to be PA based, but can be anything gaming related. Pictures are optional...! I'll kick things off with my latest parcel: a pile of stuff from Brittania (all the Somalis, and an assortment of Simbas & Mercs to round out that collection.) It boils down to 4 Jeeps + crew, a technical + crew, 8 Merc, 4 Belgian missionaries (Objectives), 13 Simbas, 27 Somalis (including 5 civillains & a RR team) & 3 Somlai Prisoners (Also objectives). There was also the Malayan CT which was shown in the 'modern news' thread I'll try to get a photo up this evening... |

I just snagged a pair of NFL Semi Tractor Trailers...for...get this:$2 each. These will get beat up and painted all rusty and such, and form part of the 15mm TOMORROW BLACK world of terrain goodies.  "Hey did you hear that?" *The Scaves passing by a old hulk of a Semi as they approach an even older Wearhouse* "Nah...what?" *Scave Scout looks to ratty old Cargo Trailer parked back up to a Loading Dock* "There is something moving in their..." Cool. I need some 28mm tractors.  My latest toys - some Bauhaus Blitzers I picked up from Ral Partha Europe. These are going to become the deserters from Araynrieche during the city evac campaign. I am thinking of light (faded) coloured jackets and different coloured pants (in AR camo or black colours). If I feel energetic I might attempt sculpting some patches and clothes repairs to the uniforms.  WZ - Dark Legion Undead Legionnaires. These will become the first of my Cyber controlled zombies (kind of like the Dead Tech faction in Shockforce). These are controlled by a mad scientist who has "inherited" a SOS "Sleeper" bunker (read as - woke from Cryo Sleep first and slaughted the rest as they slept). I hope to do a few mods adding plates, cyber gubbins and wot not to them. Then the WHFB plastics I have will get a rework and some nice tech and bits added. |

I am eagerly awaiting the postie to bring me some MONGREL 1 painted WW II US PARAS that he is giving me! he is one of my bubbies in the UK, a big greying (MM1 would be proud of my BRIT spelling of grey!), buzzcut, refugee from JOCKLAND who lives in NOTTINGHAMSHIRE. over the years MM1 has gifted me with some beautifully painted WW II GERMAN HEER, 40K IG from the 80s, COPPLESTONE FUTURE WARS troopers, as well as a bunch of unpainted BROOKS MINIATURES modern TOMMIES. a gruff man with a heart of gold, a truly generous soul, who has gifted many folks with wonderful stuff over the years! i am also eagerly awaiting some WEST WIND GOTHIC HORROR stuff that i am painting up for MC le MONKEYDEW, another cyber mate i have known since about 94 or 95. along with his stuff the postie is bringing me some BLUE MOON eastern woodland INDIANS, and some colonial/eastern frontier ENGLISH settlers and militia types as payment for the painting contract. MS POSTIE is also due to bring me some DARK AGE off world PA leads- really deranged looking gangers armed with CQC weapons called CHARITY'S FLIENSES or something like that. poor little 90 pound postie woman has been getting a small package delivery work out since i move onto her route! this week i got my v2.0 of NUTS! and COLONIAL ADVENTURES from THWG which i have been reading at night. i do like THWG rules! DAWGIE |

I've had an unusual amount of enthusiasm for a recent package I received from Black Tree Designs. All their stuff is marked way down, so I went looking throught their WWII range for useful stuff. Got a Hitler, some British commandos, and some Russian Partisans. All were very nice and will be quite useful in my PA setting. Best of all was the guy on the left in this pic  He's got a molotov cocktail, SMG, hoodie and mask. You couldn't ask for a more interesting and versatile mini. The fact that he was about a $1usd makes it all the better. I really think I like him better than most of the $4-$5 minis I've bought with "action poses", BFGs, and what have you. |

What? Alright... which one of you lot nick 'em? eh?  (I just decided not to show 'em in hte end.
