Administrator Posts: 3,629 Group: Admins Member #1 Joined: Jul 22, 2008	I watched City of Ember yesterday. Its a underground city built to save mankind from the apocalypse. The residents are meant to stay in there for 200 years but some one down the line forgets. Now the place is slowly falling apart and supplies are running low. Some interesting large mutant animals but nothing like your arch typical post apoc theme. On there is not much on the violence side. Its mostly set in the city and would provide good inspiration for underground PA games and even Necromunda. It would make an good RPG. Its a good old underground adventure and exploration movie aimed at kids. Dont bother if your looking for a mad max wannabe movie. Some nice inspiration even for your wasteland settings (nice little homebrewed machines). Also its a plus for your kids to watch (or when Granny comes for tea), no violence, no bad language, no naked chicks or folks romping.

Although they are underground this little utopia and how it is set up could be in a secluded part of the wastelands before the Raiders and mutants railroad through. The characters and factions are pretty well thought out and its a good watch. And as its a kids movie.......it may corrupt a new generation into the joys of post apocalypica!

If I remember correctly the security guys for city of ember were kind of cool looking, but ill prepared for anything, so I guess a small group ill armed and ill trained security guards versus the bloody mean nast raiders would be a bit one sided
